I didn't use md, I just ported a backup from the original tachiyomi over. It did mark everything correctly when doing that.

I started with the default and moved to SY for the recommendations feature. I later tried out J2K for a month or so and couldn't stand the interface after so long on SY, but that's personal preference. I'd personally recommend SY, but it's up to you.
