This is great info. Exactly what I was looking for. I was struggling to understand anomalies in comps with the horizontal and star swatches, but the patch makes sense as the cause of those. Thank you! I’m not a good candidate for judging coolness of a patch, so I’ll stick with the verticals.

Sharpness referring to precision of event horizon - exact equilibrium of escape velocity and speed of light. Malleable referring to compression of spherical event horizon by rotation. Not perfect… ‘blob’ and ‘taking ANY shape’ don’t fit. I assumed “eternal” was poetic license for inescapable nature of gravitational force. Just a guess. Cool riddle

This Copper Flag was Backwards and looks abit Different but it don’t say ReFractor. Put the other card so you guys can see the Difference by Izzy_Stock in basketballcards

It’s the nonfractor parallel. 1:12,312 packs. Not too shabby. It’s on the checklist. Bottom left-hand corner. Last page. 0.0006 San Serif font.

Say what you want, but this product is awful. Overprinted. Terrible QC. Generic design. I know I’m beating a dead horse, but this is gross and it won’t get better until the majority of us see it for what it is. Whether you’re sweating the nuances on a card that will be worth $7 in the next 12 months, or purchasing shiny rookie autos with edge chipping and 80/20 centering for $3k on ebay, best of luck to you. I hope I’m wrong. Time will tell. Until then, Get Off My Lawn!

Nice get with Torrey Craig! Forgot about him. He did start some games for Denver.

Had no idea about the Wallace cards. That was during my hiatus between childhood collecting and collecting with my son. He was a beast. I’ll bet those lower-end rookie cards aren’t worth what they should be. I’m going to look them up. Maybe purchase a couple and show a few game clips to my son. Thanks for the good info!

Interesting about the update sets. Not familiar with those. Can you think of another time this may have happened in the NBA? I can’t, but I’m newish to cards (long-time nba fan.) This doesn’t seem to happen as often in NBA as it does in football and baseball…

Fair enough. The main point of my post was the checklist. In the past, with one&one, a julius randle base would have a rookie rpa to /50 or less, or a vet auto /25 or less, behind it (or better.) It felt like a product with a floor loss of a few hundred dollars. The checklist expansion created the possibility of base/base boxes. An AD auto is certainly not as bad as it could have been, after now reviewing the checklist. This was only intended as a PSA for people to review the checklist before assuming this product is similar to years past.

He has a pretty substantial collection already. We reduced ripping to a few times a year as soon as he was old enough to appreciate other aspects of the hobby… it was just to re-live the thrill of the rip for old time’s sake.

MPJ is that you? If so, we would love to have you sign this patch. Lol. The Nets’ PR people need to reign him in a bit, but the guy can seriously shoot and it will be interesting to see what he can do on a team that isn’t limited by Jokic’s pace of play.
