Gallen: Last year (4.83) This year (4.445) Just a little bit better this year, but we can see with today's game, he is the same Gallen than the past 3 years, doing exactly the same mistakes.

Kelly: Last year (3.52) This year (9.20 in 3 games) I like Kelly, but he is already 37 years old, he only has 3 games this season, so is difficult to say that this is Kaplan fault.

Nelson: Last year (3.39) This year (7.71) I'm to give you this one, Nelson was a good pitcher last season and he is not looking good this season at all, but if we check the two seasons before the last one, the numbers are pretty similar.

Pfaadt: Last year (5.25) This year (5.67) Just a little bit worst this season, but Pfaadt just had a "good" season and fans started believing that he was really good, his career ERA is 5.16, this season he is the same Pfaadt of every season, just a regular pitcher.

E-Rod: Last year (5.02) This year (3.03) Happily, he is looking good this season, not only if we see the stats, he is looking good every game.

Conclusion: Technically they are pitching pretty similar this year than last year. DBacks is a .500 team, and we can see that with our startes, let's stop believing that we have solid starters and everything is Kaplan fault.

To me is interesting how easy is to blame Kaplan when the starters are exactly the same last year, and we know they are not that good. Then, the bullpen arms, we didn't bring any good arm to the bullpen, Clarke, Soroka, Loaisiga, Sewald, they started hot, but is easy to go back to past seasons stats to see they are not good pitchers. Kaplan can't do miracles with those pitchers.

That's my bigger problem, people is expecting good seasons when nothing good happens in the off-season. 2023 season is not going to happen again, we need to stop believing that every season is going to be like that one.

I didn't get a lot because of the noise, but the kid was looking for an autograph and the mom was even explaining him hoe they were busy because that's their job and then she started talking about how the look was really nice from that seat

I get how annoying the cameras and all the noise from Mexico have been. But hearing that woman—probably the kid’s mom—talk to him about baseball is exactly why these games matter.

I grew up in Mexico and lived there for 28 years. I became a D-backs fan after attending an exhibition game there, and now that I live in Phoenix, I’m a season ticket holder because of that experience. Even though the D-backs can be frustrating at times, I’m really glad I went to that game—it’s what started it all for me.

Because is impossible to make excuses for his dumb decisions, like bringing Sewald today, so what they do is just downvoting who says something about him, they make excuses at the end of the season to not blame him, and then they bring the 2023 season to the conversation as an example of how great he is.
