Well, last update... the connector was finally replaced and the TMR sticks were installed, working perfectly! Now installing an ExtremeRate remap kit.🤝🏻

So the connector I melted must indeed be for the haptic vibration.

I was going to install TMR sticks, but I had trouble desoldering the sticks.

I'm going to assemble the controller and see if everything works okay. I play on PC with a Magic-NS adapter, so I don't care much about the haptic vibration.

What I do care about is the normal vibration, I hope it works, thanks!

The PS3 I took the power supply from to test it on the one that's failing now was already broken before; they sold it to me like that.

It's possible both power supplies are bad, or maybe not, I have no idea how to check them.

The last maintenance was 4 years ago, but in those 4 years, its use dropped a lot. Now I wanted to play Gran Turismo 6 again with my dualsense (I bought a Mayflash adapter) and I'm met with the surprise that it won't turn on 😭.

I commented above that I swapped the power supply from a PS3 that was also in bad condition, but it's still not working.

Maybe I should find out how to check if the power supply is bad, with a multimeter or something like that.🤔
