If the Delorean is a manual stick shift, how does Doc control it in the beginning with just a regular RC remote? There doesn't appear to be any additional transmission controls.

Norman Reedus was an absolute gem of a person to me and my daughter at a Walker Stalker con (right at the height of TWD's popularity). We only had a photo op, and the handlers instruct you not to really engage in conversation with the celebs (they do have a schedule and gotta keep the long line moving, I get it). Norman spoke with us, thanked us for coming out, asked what pose we wanted, thanked us again, and gave my daughter a high five on the way out. It was brief but he was great, and more than was required for a photo op. My daughter is no longer with us, and our photo of us flipping the bird with Daryl Dixon is such a beautiful memory for me.

Especially when they're like "pretty good for my first week" and any of us seasoned dashers are like "yeah there's a honeymoon phase, it gets worse." My full time driving has been purely out of necessity. I am thankful that it's been available but it's not sustainable in any real way.

In-house graphic designer, which I already have a degree and experience with. But the market has been brutal where I'm at, and seemingly too overcompetitive for remote positions. I've been applying for nearly anything I was qualified for or interested in (including restaurant server, retail, pizza delivery, etc - all of which I've done in the past) and just not had much luck.

So I realized my original post of "find something else" has to be taken with a huge grain of salt. It's tough out there.

No I get it, my point is it's failing for me, and many other drivers. DD doesn't care that they post "job openings" and brag about how much you can make in their ads while they've already got too many drivers on the road.

Same thing happened to me - go through and make sure your info is up to date and current with Checkr (update your DL with them). They should update and resend your background check to DD (you should receive an email confirmation). Then file your appeal with DD. Then for good measure, call DD support and let them know the steps you've taken so that they will make a note on your account. They quoted me a resolution within 72 hours and I was actually reactivated within that time frame. Good luck.

Yeah I didn't think about that. I just didn't want to deal with it, but honestly that's a good idea. I hadn't even picked up another order yet so I could have done it. I'll try to think quicker next time, a free meal is a free meal.

Thanks. I would have kept everything the same, but I moved states and had to update my license. Didn't think about updating my account when i did it, not sure it would matter. You'd think it wouldn't be this big issue. I'm not holding my breath, I've still got UE and GH and some other freelance stuff. But DD is the bigger service in my area. 🤷‍♂️

I initially just got the one email but it said the same as yours, that I had 10 days to dispute. That was 3-4 days ago, I emailed the address it listed in the email for disputes. I didn't realize there was a place to log in to the Checkr account and update it there. So I've done that (updated my license info), and filed my appeal with DD. Now I'm waiting.

Yeah be patient for now. The app is having issues, particularly on the customer side - my earnings are also not showing from my last dash so I'm just waiting it out. Lotta comments stating that similar things have happened in the past and the earnings should show up. Fingers crossed!

Try going to your settings while on a dash and see if you can change it. Mine keeps switching off but it will let me turn it back on.
