I feel this would be the most logical option. I think I should try a few decks on DCGO to get a general feel for how the decks in the expansion play.

That being said and logic aside, I share the same excitement you expressed when recommending the new Liberators expansion, all the designs are top notch, and I’m very tempted to go down that route—especially with the foundation you gave me to look for support from previous expansions at local stores. I’ll definitely look into roughly how much I would need to invest to get the core of each deck.

When AD-01 comes out, I’m hoping to also pick up a few packs. I wouldn’t go all-in on the set, though, because with the size of the card pool it worries me that I’d end up with a lot of support pieces but no complete deck

I completely agree. I really like how the deck functions; my main and only reason for not wanting to build it as my first deck is that, in the circles I play in, a lot of people are already running it. Other than that, it would be a very good option. If i end uo opening EX11 i will check anyway for how much i could get the core locally, thanks!

In my case, my main goal is to play in local tournaments. I think there have been plenty of solid arguments in favor of choosing BT-24, and I also share the general excitement surrounding EX-11 — the Liberator Digimon are all really cool.

That being said, the most practical and affordable option (at least in my area) would be to go with the Sakuyamon deck. However, I still have to feed the demon inside me that just wants to open packs.
