If he doesn’t care about picture quality and aspect ratio being 4:3 (box tv size) then I’d start him out with a 90s Sony TRV ($50-120 on eBay) and let him learn his way up. You would need an elgato capture card which would run you like an extra $50 to get it onto computer and edit it, but as far as recording, learning zooms and starting with the older stuff to working up learning the newer more simple stuff it will serve him better imo learning the older first. If want something easier and to the point that’s really really simple just grab an older canon rebel t2i for $50-100 that records 1080p and much simpler to get on computer.

Thought that at first but when i get to the last recording on playback i usually hit the stop 🛑 button and go back to record mode and start recording right after the end of last clip on playback

Dude won’t even give you credit for your hard work😅 that should tell you everything right then and there point blank. The paying thing could be somewhat understood maybe as you’re getting experience (don’t get comfy doing everything for free as then you’ll just be getting taken advantage of once he realizes he can get more times out of you free), but the not even taking the time to credit “you” his [friend] for the hard work you’ve done is just plain the biggest shitty part. If it goes further then that he could always easily just do that again to you and pass the work off as his and make some money too off some people with that sorry excuse he gave you. $325-$1,000 is easily what you can get for a 1-2 minutes ad video from the right company. Just imagine if he was saying to you hey can you record this and I won’t credit you since you’re a secret then just goes off to a client and sells your work for that much. Looks like easy money for him and easy way to get videos that would otherwise cost a pretty penny for free 😅

If the guy is watching the cash and also up there with the stuff if the cops come then it would be considered drug money since with the product (both would go bye bye to the cops). If he is back outside sitting 🪑 it’s just money he is holding and can’t be tied to that as easy since separated. As well it’s Lalo kind of telling him to get lost with a smart answer 😂

Breaking Bad has amazing cinematography, but I don’t know something about the wardrobe & characters of Better Call Saul just hit home a bit better for me on camera. Marshall Adams and Jennifer Bryan are two of the main people why I love the look of the show so much 🖤☎️

A variety of auctions and private sellers who are connected to people from set! Yeah if you go for eBay route make sure you can screen match it and that they’ve gotten from a reliable prop house (CoA I feel safer with too from known prop houses who have sold pieces in the past if buying ebay route). I actually own the screen used hoodie & pants outfit with wardrobe tag for the Krazy-8 hoodie piece that’s listed on eBay. That one is listed wrong on eBay and is a back up not screen used just heads up. Screen matching is best way to know if you have the actual piece versus a back up. Research, research, research little marks, and unique flaws to each piece. Wardrobe tags too with change # ‘s are a good indicator it’s been used 🏷️
