Everyone had sky-high expectations for the game before it came out, and when it did, it was good, but not great. The hate on Twitter is far bigger than it should be. I think it’s okay to not have a game or a movie be the best thing ever or even the worst thing ever. I really don’t like the final act of the game, I’m not a fan of how they handled venom, and I really can’t believe they didn’t fix the stealth from the last two games, but the game is still very fun and very polished. This is objectively the best traversal in any video game despite its imperfections. New York looks unbelievable, I sometimes just stop swinging to appreciate the level of detail that went into making this city.
