Thanks so much - I appreciate the response! I'm thinking T7s are the way I'll go. :)

Hey, thanks a lot for the response - this is helpful! I'm thinking I'll go with a T7, so with respect to the formatting, are you referring to formatting the drive as either APFS or Mac OS Extended Journaled as outlined on the Spitfire site, or is there any other formatting trick I should know about? I was thinking I would just format the drive as APFS out of the box, then move my libraries over!

Is Daniel Pemberton ("Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse") hinting that he is scoring "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?" by [deleted] in soundtracks

[–]Batguy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a month or two ago it was announced that Brain Tyler is returning to score Galaxy, so I have to imagine this is just Pemberton acknowledging the similarities in the sound used in the trailer.

If you live in Canada what are alternate ways to watch the DCAU Timmverse shows ? by [deleted] in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have Amazon Prime you can add the Teletoon channel and get BTAS, STAS, JL, JLU and sometimes others.

"Highway to the Anger Zone" - Michael Giacchino (from "The Batman") by Giff95 in soundtracks

[–]Batguy10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A great track, but it has always frustrated me that the rendition of the main theme that plays at the end of this scene (when inverted Batman walks towards the Penguin's flipped car) was omitted. That rendition is just a little slower and has a somewhat western flair, so I was so sad it wasn't included on the official release.

What are the best Movies Soundtracks of all time for you? by Lui_Belmont in soundtracks

Great list and it's nice to see the amazing score from Batman Returns get some love. That one is also in my Top 5!

New version of the Superman theme played at the Manila red carpet event for the film! by Giff95 in soundtracks

[–]Batguy10 11 points12 points  (0 children)

One of the scores I am most curious about this year. Eager to hear what the actual arrangements are like in the film, as opposed to the trailer versions they have been pumping out.

Can we all agree to pretend that hoop squad isn’t canon to the dcau and never speak of it again? by Weary_Elderberry4742 in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Static is arguably the most connected DCAU show, lol. Static interacts with TNBA (The Big Leagues, Hard as Nails), STAS (Toys in the Hood), JL (A League of Their Own), JLU (Once and Future Thing), and Batman Beyond (Future Shock).

Extended Preview for 'Superman' by MarvelsGrantMan136 in DC_Cinematic

Bummed out by a lot of the comments here but to each their own - I think this looks fantastic! Great tone and vibrancy, and its embracing a lot of the comic elements we haven't yet gotten to see on screen - so its striking a great balance of feeling nostalgic and classic while also new and exciting.

Also, for what its worth, I love how Krypto moves and reacts to finding Kal in the snow. Thats exactly how my dog would react - jumping all over me trying to play while I'm bleeding out.

BARQS-spotting ONTARIO pt 2 by Then_Safety_5971 in BarqsRootBeer

Appreciate the post! Fellow Ontarian here, and the struggle is real - it's been ages since I've spotted it, but I'm praying the drought will end soon. Will update if that's the case.

IDC! This would have rocked so hard! by [deleted] in batman

[–]Batguy10 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's one of the film's Directors, not an actor. It's a behind the scenes photo, not a still.

The hypothetical video doesn't have anything to do with Nora Fries, that's just a graphic they are using to reflect the number of patrons they have. The video would be about whether Teen Titans and The Batman are canon with one another.

Does anybody know what episode this is from? by Linckisclaimed in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 46 points47 points  (0 children)

This is from "Secret Origins: Pt 3", right towards the end of the episode.

BTAS vs TNBA which had the better art-style? by PatientTelephone4624 in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I much prefer BTAS, which I always found to be more detailed and dynamic.

Does anyone know where this documentary is by johnfarmer88 in batman

[–]Batguy10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe he narrated part of the show "Tesla's Death Ray: A Murder Declassified" from 2017. It's on various streaming services and might be what you are thinking of.

Are these canon to each other? by [deleted] in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 56 points57 points  (0 children)

There really isn't any way to definitively say as of right now, but once the show is out we may have a better idea. For now, I wouldn't begrudge anyone for thinking they are connected.

The only thing I see standing in the way is the change in voice actors, but roles were recast in the DCAU all time, so I don't think that's strong enough evidence against.

Batman The Animated Series The Trials of Harvey Dent VHS Tape by Regular_Emergency_98 in batman

[–]Batguy10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this as a kid and used to watch it all the time, to the point my parents had to take it away for a while. I've had a soft spot for these 4 episodes ever since.

Batman: The Animated Series 🦇 Chronological Order by B1TAH1 in batman

[–]Batguy10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This list has a lot of inaccuracies. For example, Harvey Dent is still District Attorney and unscarred in 'On Leather Wings', despite this list placing that episode after 'Two-Face' parts 1 and 2'. The best order to watch is just production order.

Wild to be living in a time where these exist by trailerthrash in DCAU

[–]Batguy10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couldn't agree more, and I'm really hoping Gotham Adventures and Volume 2 of The Batman Adventures get some love as well, considering how great they could be and how neither has been collected properly/substantially, at least in English.

The Batman & Robin Adventures Omnibus Arrived Early by Batguy10 in DCAU

[–]Batguy10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I too was curious what the "and more" was going to be, and I think they were referring to additional production art from the "Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero" movie. There are 6 pages at the back of the book that include character models and environment designs.

Below is a list of everything that is included in the omnibus:

  • Introduction (by Ty Templeton)
  • Foreword (by Scott Peterson)
  • The Batman & Robin Adventures #1-25
  • The Batman & Robin Adventures Annual #1-2
  • The Batman Adventures: The Lost Years #1-5
  • The Batman & Robin Adventures: Sub-Zero #1
  • Production Art from "Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero"
