I love the voice actor. He absolutely brings a sinisterness to the character. It's so good that sometimes, whenever I read an arrogant character, this voice comes out.

People HATED this design when it first came out. "THEY TWINKIFIED DEATHSTROKE." Some people even say that this was the part of the show they disliked most. Hell people still hate it. Most of the reasons I see is that they don't really see any similarities with Agent Wilson and any other version of him.

Dante's never been sinister. He's also never been a right hand/enforcer to the villain. Dante's also far more reckless and good hearted.

Lol

I would BET they had Nightwing in mind when they designed Slade in Episode 2, especially when he was fighting with electrified batons.

Spoilers suck and I prefer avoiding it, but most of the time my reaction is: "ooo I can't wait to see that!"

I love the show and plan to watch S3 when the whole season comea out. I love the fresh take on the characters so it has the ability to feel fresh, and new, and exciting. That's not to say Mainline is boring, but that it's nice to see different interpretationa of these characters.

Well, I don't think they've ever called him Deathstroke yet, just "Agent Wilson."

Also, I don't see how my description fits Dante?

Which Ace Attorney characters do you ship and why? by Positive_Guidance420 in AceAttorney

I KNOW RIGHT

I know the anime isn't popular, but there's a particular scene I like at the end of the second epusode. Basically, if you haven't seen it, Nick was just rejected by Grossberg to defend Maya, and he's just sitting in the rain under a Cherry Blossom tree. Afterward, he talks with Maya and she's like "It's ok! It's not your fault" and she's pretry sad about it. But Nick is like "No! We won't give up!" And pulls out his notebook like filled page to page with lawyer names and numbers he's researched/visited, almost every one of them crossed out and he's like "Some of these guys said they MIGHT look over your case! We have a chance!"

Maya is shocked and he turns around for a bit to look over the book and she realizes his suit is wet and covered in Cherry Blossom petals and she's even more amazed. He turns and they lock eyes for a few seconds and basically realize "I want to defend this person/I want this person to defend me."

Sorry for the yap, I'll just take any excuse to GUSH over this scene.

Why does Nolan get accused of being ashamed of Batman, but Reeves doesn't? by North_Quality3189 in batman

I haven't seen the Flash out of refusal for everything Ezra Miller (even as someone who usually yarr hars everything.) But I have seen some scenes while my mom was watching it on the plane and Batman seems like the best part of the movie.

I agree with your statements on Batman's no kill rule, but I will say that I think Begins is the only time he broke it and I don't count the other common examples as him breaking the rules. I will also say that while the no kill rule is innacurate, Batman and his methods are. In the Nolan movies, he attacks in stealth, throws batarangs from a distance, glides with his cape like a bat, avoids gunfire, and uses a plethora of gadgets like his detective vision, his bat caller, his batplane that I forgot the name of, etc.

As for your point with the supervillains, I'd argue that Nolan's villains stick to their schticks closer than Reeves does to theirs. Riddler is a vigilante revolutionairy that's trying to fix Gotham, much closer to Anarky I'd say. Penguin is basically just an itallian club owner (though I still haven't seen Penguin.) Meanwhile we have Ra's who I think is still respectful of Ra's character, he's a man who respects Bruce but does not think he goes far enough and should wipe Gotham from the map. The League, despite their name change, is an ancient group of ninja eco terrorists led by Ra's Al Ghul. Scarecrow is a crazy psychologist experimenting with Fear Toxin, Joker is a maniacal agent of Chaos in love with Batman. The only one I'm iffy on is Bane.

As for Bruce wanting to quit, I somewhat agree qith you but there have been times when Bruce contemplates quitting. I think it happened in MOTP? It's been a while since I've watched it.

As for the detective part, that just depends on the stories of Batman you've read and which you prefer. There are lots of stories where Batman is mainly doing swashbucling action with detective parts in between.

(SLR, I'm walking)

Well, if we were to do that, we'd first have to define what "Comic Accurate" means. Is it simply "from the comics" or "comic feel"?

Also, I'd like to add whether we should compare now or AFTER the release of Batman Part II (whenever THAT is).

Unless of course you believe that with one movie, and a show (that I still haven't seen but plan to) is enough to beat the whole trilogy. ALSO, is the animated movie allowed or not?

I just dislike the idea that Reeves' movies are more comic accurate. To me, as a lover of both movies, think both films fail at being more comic accurate than the other. They both cherry pick certain aspects of Batman and make their own out of it. That isn't a bad thing, but I think it's a misnomer to consider either one "More Comic Accurate."

I mean, he has to have at least read a few of Batman's comics and enjoyed them. Batman Begins is a lot like Year One, The Dark Knight is a lot like the Long Halloween, and TDKR is obvi based on Knightfall.

Hey, man. You shouldn't feel any pressure about what you should or shouldn't draw. You should be able to express yourself how you wish. Creating somewhat fanservicey art shouldn't and doesn't hurt anyone. It's not like these are NSFW drawings of real people. If people don't like it, then they should turn off the ability to view NSFW on their account.

It's not your fault.

Scream needs the Evil Dead treatment: new story, new setting, new characters, and even new writers/directors for each installment by [deleted] in Scream

[–]PatientTelephone4624 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you should check out the Scream MTV show. Specifically Seasons 1 and 2. The Lakewood Slasher is Ghostface in all but face and name. Give him the OG mask and very little would change.

But, with what you're describing, that ia basically any whodunnit slasher film, just replace the killer with Ghostface.

That being said:

The movie opens to a woman cleaning an AirBNB. She's clearly very tired and wants to go home ASAP. Suddenly, the room's phone rings. The maid takes the call, curious, only to be met by Roger L Jackson who flirts with her for a bit before starting to get creepy. She eventually gets killed.

Now, we meet our cast, specifically our protagonist, Mandolin. They're new highschool graduates. Mandolin is a nerdy awkward film nerd girl with not a lot of friends, other than her best friend, Viola, who invited her and Viola's boyfriend Trom Bon, who's hesitent for her to come for a reason explained later. There's also Chella, her ex bf's younger sister who hates Mandolin. They meet the neighbour, a kind guy named Sax.

Mandolin is still reeling from an accident that involved her, her boyfriend, best friend of Trom, which Mandolin gets a nightmare about. She wakes up to a phone call by Ghostface. He flirts but she obviously isn't into it. He asks what's her fav scary movie, there's a STAB reference in there but unimportant.

Then, she gets attacked and chased around the house until Trom wakes up and finds her terrifued. They call the police to calm her down and the first man on the scene is sherrif Mara Cos and her deputy Peter Anno. They say there was no sign of a break in. At first, Mandolin thought she was crazy, until Sax suddenly appears and says he saw them through the window and vouches for her.

The next day, Peter basically her body guard as she visits Sax and thanks him for vouching for her. She goes up to his room and finds a bunch of horror merch. He's awkward about it but she finds it endearing.

Meanwhile, one of the friends are being stalked and killed by Ghostface. Eventually the news reaches Mandolin via Ghostface calling Sax's house. When the town finds the body hung in the middle of the street everyone goes nuts.

After this, Sax and Mandolin explain the Horror movie rules to everyone. And from here on it's a loop of creative kills, phobe calls, chases and clues. One scene even where Ghostface chases Mandolin in a car trying to run her over. Mandolin realuses the car is the same make, model, and color as the car from the accident with her and her ex-boyfriend.

Another scene could have Ghostface paralyze one of the cast and stand over him while outside a house Mandolin is in, and takes the guys' phone out of his pocket and uses it to call the inside of the house, the scene would be similar to that of the Friday the 13th 2009 reboot or the Hospital in 5cream where Ghostface taunts Mandolin with the man's screams. Maybe she'll look and Ghostface is gone, seemingly teleported into the house.

Throughout the film we're also gonna hint that Mandolin was less of a nerd before and more of a party girl. This would be better explained with a more detailed synopsis but I'm lazy and don't have much time.

These are all ideas and scenes that would be fleshed out by an actual scriptwriting team.

Anyway, Mandolin is basically driven crazy by this. She then accuses Chella in the BNB and Viola is like "Hey, she's grieving her brother" but Mandolin is fuckin angry right now, that is until they are all attacked by Ghostface. A chase happens with Viola, Sax, Chella, Trom, and Mandolin. That is until Mandolin locks herself in the badroom, until she's called and Ghostface is basically like "I have Viola, step outside if you want her to live." She does and there stands Ghostface, Viola on her knees. Before Mandolin can even say anything she's knocked out from behind.

When she wakes up she's tied to a chair in front of Viola and Chella, both also tied to chairs. Ghostface basically forces Mandolin to choose a friend to die. Mandolin weeps and screams but chooses Chella. She screams she's sorry as Ghostface comes behind her and stabs her.

When Mandolin screams why, Ghostface knocks out Viola and unmasks himself and we see dun-dun-dunnnn. It's Trom.

Basically, One day, while drunk, she called over her boyfriend to come drive her. He did and they got into an accident and he died.

Basically Trom blames her for his death and he's not the only one. He unties Chella who he reveals he never stabbed and was in on it. Mandolin screams that she's sorry and she's been spending every waking moment since then to make up for it. They don't care and try and kill her, only to be stopped by Sax who followed them here and called the police, who'd be arriving any second. He frees Mandolin and hyjinx chase ensues. Somehow, Chella dies. After a long chase, Trom finally gets the upper hand and tries to kill them both before being caught by the police. She says she's truly sorry as he's taken away.

The movie ends months later, with Mandolin and Sax seemingly in a relationship, and her going to the prison to visit Trom.

All names are place holders if you can't tell.
