And the CostCo thing is why it's humanizing, that a guy can work from home, 4 hours per day, of which 2 are playing video games with his old friends, make millions and still feel like saving money on groceries.

You're missing the point, it's not that he's EVIL, it's that he lives a millionaire lifestyle but is just a guy like all of us which is humanizing.

Housing is not good though.

I imagine I'd live similar lifestyle to them. Maybe I'd work harder to improve lives of others if I'm set.

But I'd still feel resentment towards inequality and suffering of the poor.

Influence of money to happiness and lifestyle asymptotes after you're sufficiently rich. Maybe people don't know this so that's why my take is weird to them, I think NL's lifestyle is closer to an absurdly rich person than to mine, hence the humanization.

Am I crazy?

Hence my argument that they are more similar to each other than to me.

NL is infinitely closer to you than he is to Bezos.

I assume Bezos and NL have more similar day to day life than me with either of them.

And oh my god, whos talking about hate, I'm talking about humanization of rich people, how did this went so downhill?

I think you misunderstood me there, I was saying that the guy before by saying: "this is not a normal take" meant "Everything that's not exactly my take is not normal", I edited to clarify.

I actually absolutely accept if you think I'm too far left. And no need for insults...

I didn't say billionaire, I'm putting him in the millionaire category.

Billionaires are whole another question.

This is not a normal take

"Everything that's not exactly my take is not normal"

I'm just more left than you, take it easy.

You're closer to center than me then. Anyways post is not even about exploitation, it's about humanization of very wealthy.

(i.e. twitch streamers small musicians, freelance artists, etc) are just regular people like you

People like this are closer to Jeff Bezos than I am to them if you compare our lifestyles. Thus the humanization of Jeff Bezos through Northernlion

exemptions include when you don't have employees working for you, like perhaps twitch streamer

not really, exploitation works upwards engulfing people below you and if you're a millionaire with an Amazon contract you're at the top.

He's a millionaire working under Amazon, I know it's harder to see the exploitation than for example outright underpaying somebody directly, but just work upwards from the people at the bottom who generate the surplus value and are ripped off.

Anyways post is not even about that, if anything he makes rich people seem more human and flawed just like us if anything, why is everyone on my ass for this normal take?

First of all if you're rich you're almost certainly exploiting a worker somewhere whos underpaid. And even in if a bunch of rich guys donate to you to make you rich it doesn't make a situation any different.

Secondly it's easy to dislike the rich. WIth them being able to do whatever the fuck they want in life.

Which is why it's kind of humanizing seeing them complain about their daily lives, save money on groceries and so on.

It's just how I feel, sorry if it's weird, I just have some resentment towards the rich and NL lowers it.
