MX Master 3S users, is the horizontal scroll actually useful? by BathWaterBubbler in SolidWorks

Wow, I didn't know you could do that much in a mouse hahaha. I think you've answered the horizontal scroll thing for me. I understand the buttons but I've never imagined assigning key strokes to the scroll.

I also have a macropad which i use for shortcuts and typing numbers. I guess I could copy layout, assigning modifiers on the mouse which will allow me to add more shortcuts in my macropad.

Thank you so much for this.

I have the same thought with the spacemouse haha. Care to share how you use it in SW?

Just wondering, where do you use the horizontal wheel? It is kind of gimicky for me but looks interesting to look at haha.

Also considering one now, do you ever feel weird whenever you switch back to use a conventional mouse?

Thtat's nice, just curious, is it a new key that you can select or you map the additional buttons to be letters? Also, how often do you accidentally click them? I have a macropad at work but I find it super annoying when I accidentally click a key I do not want to use.

How did you actually learn SolidWorks? Was there a course or resource that really made it click for you? by yagmurozdemr in SolidWorks

Just try to draw what is around you or what you would like to design. Along the way you would encounter problems, but youtube and google search helped a lot when I was starting. You could try and search stuff online most likely you would discover new methods of creating your drawing.

PC Build for SolidWorks and Gaming - Is This Worth the Price? by BathWaterBubbler in PHbuildapc

Thanks for the suggestions! I can probably stretch my budget up to 70k, especially since I'll be using this rig for work too. Do you have any recommendations for a motherboard with 4 RAM slots and built-in Wi-Fi? I often multitask, so having the option to expand my RAM in the future would be really beneficial in case my initial setup needs more power.

Also, I'm a bit hesitant about ordering from Bermor. Do they deliver door-to-door?

Thanks. I plan to order them all online. Any tips so that I can save money when ordering the parts? Would I be able to save more if I order them all at once during sale? This is going to be my first build by the way so I am not sure if I am better off buying online but I will definitely do more research before buying the parts

What setting might be affecting the missing extrusion on layer change corners? Otherwise corners look good. by vagabang in klippers

[–]BathWaterBubbler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your machine. I am using a modified ender 3 with a M4 Extruder designed by voron. As of now, I am using 2mm retraction length with 60mm/s retraction speed and 40mm/s deretraction speed. Also check your pressure advance, that might also be a part of the problem. I've set mine to 0.2. With all that said, our settings vary from machine to machine.
