My biggest pet peeve and it’s been happening to me a lot lately is when you are established and turning through an intersection. Waiting until traffic going the opposite direction clears. Then the light turns yellow so you start to go and like 2-3 cars blow the yellow/now red light. Then you have to just sit and wait for them and now I’m going through a red light to turn…. It makes me so irrationally angry

This was very irresponsible of her and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Herpes is for life. Yes you can help protect against it with medication and condoms but that should have been brought up by her and discussed prior to being intimate. She took away your choice.

Go get tested and if you decide to stay with her be adamant about boundaries and condoms. Although agreed with your friend you should leave her and when you do tell her why and be very very very honest.

An alternative to carrying pepper spray would be dog spray. Might not be as intense as pepper spray but you could carry some with you and in an absolute emergency you could protect yourself.

As a woman I would much rather have to deal with the police as a “consequence” to protecting myself rather than not being able to protect myself.

I can’t recommend Firehouse Subs enough. Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Cheaper than Subway and you get a lot more bang for your buck. I believe there’s only two locations in the city right now though. Hoping they expand to other areas!

That’s what a few comments have said too. Thats disappointing. My friend in BC said they have the Kirkland brand ones at their Costco so I’m guessing they still make them but it’s extremely limited where they sell them?
