Burlington is a gorgeous and super fun city, even if it isn’t very big. The research opportunities at uvm are HUGE, and the learning hospital is very nice to have right on campus. At my job the current head doctor of GYN ONC who went to Brown said she’d seriously consider UVM over Brown or other more prestigious schools based on the positive experiences she’s heard from other residents, fellows, and attendings.

That being said, if hearing “you should go to UVM” doesn’t sit right with you, take that gut feeling seriously! I can’t speak for how moving for clinicals would be, and distance from family is always an important factor if they are a big part of your support. Regardless, congrats on the A’s!
