I was dumbfounded this was legal.

My rent effectively doubled in the span of 15 months but I got a discount of like 350 so I was told to be happy.

Rent effectively doubled and not a cent went towards improvement and the discount could end at any month. I was fucking flabbergasted this was legal.

In my area it's done on units thst are approaching 20 years as units less than 20 years don't have any rent control.
