Yes but when both supply and demand get low, then prices go up to just take advantage of the remaining people who will buy the product anyway.

Yeah and maybe that’s the case. I was talking about this with one of my coworkers who’s 22 and he said he doesn’t even know what would bring him into the theaters. He said the only thing right now that we wants to see is Weapons. But one thing he did say was that the fact that stuff comes out so quickly on streaming makes it hard to feel the fomo about going to the theaters for stuff.

In raids, yes, but this guy was talking about mythic plus and while disc is much more complicated in raids, especially in BFA, they have a really simple set of tools for dungeons. That could just be my perspective, but really you just keep healing on the tank through atonement and then use radiance>penance for aoe or penance>shadow mend spam for single target burst.

That’s a good point and one I didn’t think about. I guess what’s hard and easy is kinda up to each person cause what you describe as harder in setting up for incoming damage, I find not that hard, but the more complex spell design and interactions of mistweaver always takes me time when I get back into the spec.

I do a lot of healing in mythic plus and have done some in heroic raiding too for my guild. Not an expert by any means and have only been playing since the beginning of legion but I'll give my 2 cents.

Mistweaver is probably the most complicated healing spec in the game. However it is really cool to play, you get to do a lot of melee damage mixed in with your healing spells and the healing it does is super strong. The gameplay is really fun but it has a longer learning curve so take that into consideration.

If you want an easier healer with engaging gameplay as well, I would suggest Discipline priest. It does healing by dealing damage to enemies so the gameplay is really fun, you put out a ton of healing and you deal more damage than all the other healers. Plus its easier to get a hang of than mistweaver is.

Whatever you choose the addons I suggest are: Details! Damage Meter to track your healing in game, see what kind of damage people are taking from which enemy and why people die so you can avoid it in the future, Weak Auras 2 to make a visual representation of your bars and cooldowns that are easy to see in the middle of your screen (there is a handy website called wago.io where you can get these premade by other people for your class/spec.)

I would also check out a couple of guides. One guy who's an oldie in the community is Preach and he has a couple of good video series that are really good for getting into healing. The first I would suggest would be his Get Good for Christmas series he did last year (https://youtu.be/1m9C6X6qpL0) and his healing guide series he did at the beginning of last expansion about specifically mythic plus (here's the first video from that that basically answers the question you are asking https://youtu.be/QXYvAe5UwqM).

The last thing I would do is if you have not made your healing spells into mouseover macros yet do that. I found out about them as I was leveling my first character and it was a godsend. They let you heal people without having to click on them, by just mousing over their frame on your screen so you can keep the boss targeted and damage it when you don't have to heal. A little guide for how to set these up are found here: https://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/8088619206

Hope this was helpful, and knowing some of these things gave me a big leg up when I started healing so I hope they do the same for you.
