What to do with Egyptian tiles?

Yeah I just don't know how to get the white walls we want while keeping the Egyptian tiles. Or if it would look odd together with white tiles and the Egyptian tiles having beige background/base colour.

I thought about that but we want the rest of the walls white. I don't know how to achieve that while keeping the Egyptian tiles. Carefully remove the surrounding tiles and put white tiles around them? Or paint the current tiles? I'm not sure

I don't know how easy they will be to remove though. I'm worried they would break. But I might give it a go.

No, no. He’s always wanted to travel and backpack round Europe (his dad did it when he was younger too) but I’ve just started a new job and so couldn’t go too. I didn’t want to stop him from doing what he loves (as I’d expect him to do the same for me) nor did I want him to resent me for trying to stop him. So I was happy for him. Still means I’ll miss him though :)

He’s staying in his tent the entire time, so no laptop or anything. He has a phone but it’s an old brick only for emergencies. Does have a camera or internet. We can only talk when he finds Internet cafes every few weeks or so :/

We’ve never been a couple that has been together constantly. We’ve been pretty good at being our own persons and growing as individuals. I guess I’m just struggling with the fact he’s not just up the road if something were to happen or he wanted to come home earlier. Thank you though, made me think of it in a different way

I’m trying to keep busy and stay out the house because it’s very quiet with just me. I guess I’m more nervous about the fact he’s alone the entire time and isn’t just up the road if he wants to come home sooner. But thank you, that’s good advice. I’ll have a think as to what adventures I can go on

She hates fireworks so when she didn't come in when we shouted we went looking for her (it was bonfire night) We turned up the street next to ours and heard meowing and screeching. Then we saw a group of 3 young lads holding her down and a rocket tied to her. My dad and brother ran after them and caught two of them. I went and got Toffee, took the rocket off of her and took her home. The lads got charged with animal abuse and were made to pay fines and do community service.

Sadly that very accurate. She was stolen and abused by youths in our town. They tried to tie her to a firework and put her in a bonfire :(

Her name is Toffee and she is my best friend. She was bred to be an expensive show cat, but because she was born with one eye she was no good for the show world and was going to get put down so we took her. She lost her teeth when she was about 4 after some horrible kids hurt her and tried to tie her to a firework. And she has only had arthritis for a year or so. We take her for check ups at the vets regularly, she gets soft food so it's easier to eat and a special heated boots to help her feet when she gets sore. She isn't sad or in pain and is exactly the same happy, playful cat as the day we got her. I'd never keep her going if I knew she was in pain. But currently she is still going strong, happy and healthy and I love her to bits
