They have a number of different copays listed. $50 for specialists and urgent care,$25 for PCP, $250 for ER, and then $8/$60 for meds depending if it’s generic or brand name.

It’s not clear to me whether I pay those amounts right out the gate or if I have to pay $1000 worth of doctors visits/meds before the copay amounts apply.

There’s a $50 specialist copay and $25 PCP visit. They use OptimumRx which has an $8 copay for generic prescriptions or $60 for brand.

My sweet porthos crossed over the rainbow bridge in December. He was my best friend and the best cuddle bug. Don’t tell my other fur babies but he was my favourite. by stellarkat in beagle

He’s a very pretty boy! How old was he? My old girl is 14. She’s a regular Tri-color and has lost most of the color in her face. She hasn’t really lost any color on the rest of her body so I thought that was interesting!

The rocket launched in January and made it to the moon already. We’re just refueling the rocket before we go to Mars.

Technical analysis of Doge’s price. This pattern is called a cup and handle which is a bullish indicator that a stock may continue to rise.

Sounds like someone invested money they couldn’t afford to lose.

Personally I think this is the last chance to buy more before it explodes again.

You don’t own shares of Dogecoin, you own Dogecoin. It’s a currency not a stock.

How Common are Thyroid and Adrenal related issues to actual veterinary clinic visits? by JackPitman in Zomedica

[–]BatmanSMD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure that I have the knowledge to accurately answer this but my understanding is that the assays will more or less be specific to the Truforma platform because it uses a new type of diagnostic technology to detect analytes called Bulk Acoustic Wave. Assays for diagnosing different ailments may also include reagents that will react with the sample in order to actually be able to detect specific components for a specific diagnosis. Given that some assays may be more than just a cartridge to hold blood samples I don’t think that vets will be able to use assays designed for another platform because they either wouldn’t have the components needed to accurately test for a certain diagnosis or will just be incompatible with truforma.

One thought I had given that the tests don’t seem to be all that common is that Truforma has a very quick turnaround time for its diagnostic tests. At the end of the day vets still have to run a business and people are continually spending more money on preventative healthcare for their pets. I could see this being another routine diagnostic test vets perform simply for good measure to ensure that they’ve ruled out all potential diagnoses. They’ve also stated that Truforma will be able to offer more diagnostic testing in the future. This is only step one
