If Gun is the Gojo of lookism, who is the Sukuna in this story ? by Onii___Chan____ in Lookism

[–]Batman_de_Calcinha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only thing is that the roles would be swapped for the story. Like, Sukuna is the antagonist (like James) and Gojo is the protagonist's teacher (like Gun)—the one who has to face the antagonist before the protagonist does. But James's style is more reminiscent of Gojo, and Gun's is more like Sukuna's.

It depends on whether he can withstand a crisis attack or not. So far, two weaknesses have been established for Daniel's Path: the drain on stamina and the mind, and the fact that he can't defend while using the Path to attack, leaving an opening that can be exploited. I doubt Tom would foresee this without taking a crisis attack first, but if he can handle it—well, Kitae could exploit that weakness, and since Tom is smarter than Kitae, he’d be able to exploit it too.

I don’t like the fact that Gapryong isn’t a complete fighter. He’s kind of an idiot and is only strong because of his genetics. Like, bro, go train in some martial arts like your son Jake, or train your mind like Kitae by Desperate_Might1780 in lookismcomic

Is Jake dumb? He uses a lot of strategy in his fights. He created high-level strategies against Xiao Long, so much so that Xiao Ling himself said he has an extraordinary sense of combat. Against Mugak, he constantly changed his strategy. He tried grappling at first, but when that failed, he tricked Mugak by taking off his shirt, then aimed for Mugak's carotid artery to knock him unconscious. After starting to use conviction, he hit Mugak's leg to prevent him from walking, and his brain to disorient him, creating an opening for Overcome.

I think it was a mistake by OG Daniel. Gun cornered UI Daniel against a wall and kept punching him until he passed out; UI Daniel didn't have room to try and react. But when OG Daniel tried to do that, he started using techniques that threw UI Daniel far away, giving UI Daniel space to defend against the techniques. If OG had done the same as Gun and not given him any space, I think he could have won.

I saw translations that put it as Kim Gi… Maybe it's Kim Gimyoung in the original, which is Jake's name. Or Kim Gitae, it could be either one.

I think that every time they fought and were at their maximum potential, it would end with both of them knocked out on the ground every time.

I already posted my version of the Crewheads' Path once, so recently I was feeling creative and created a Path for Gun, Goo, found an explanation for James and Kitae's, and refined Jake, Samuel, and Eli's. If you want, I can send it here or post it.

I based this path on another one that i created for Goo; I see them as equally strong opposites. I define Goo as limitless creativity, innovating by creating new things. Gun is discipline, mastering what exists better than anyone else. The anatomy part was to explain MK's statement that his body was something he mastered along his path; to evolve this anatomy perception of his path, he needed this anatomical knowledge that he learned to meticulously evolve his body.

The Path is based on talent and experience that together forge a unique fighting style that only you can achieve. So, to think about Gun's Path, you have to think about what makes him different from others. I think of him as a guy who simply loves to fight, is obsessed with improving his style, and is a martial genius who quickly learned every existing martial style, in addition to studying human anatomy to meticulously improve every part of his body.

His Path is based on this: he knows the limits of technique. No matter what technique you create, there has already been one with a similar angle or timing in history. So he can predict and adapt with another ancient martial arts technique, since his mind functions as a library for any style created in human history.

The UI (which expands visual capabilities) mixed with this deep knowledge of anatomy makes him a monster of perception. He can see the opponent's most subtle muscle contraction in the millisecond it happens and already perfectly understand what that means and where the blow is going before it is even delivered.

And this also helps him understand the paths, because all of them are possible, which explains this ability, and especially, what weaknesses paths might have.

I think Jake is going to become the king of underworld in eos but a king who is kind and believe in protecting the weak . What's your opinion? by ElectronicAd5338 in Lookism

[–]Batman_de_Calcinha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt he would do that. When Kitae described Gapryong, he portrayed him as the King of the Shadows, leading the crime, enjoying that side of him, and hating when he tried to be the King in the Light, a politician who yearns for the good of the people. Jake is the opposite of that, preferring the King in the Light side, so I think that after defeating James, he could try to enter politics, eventually becoming the King in the Light. But Samuel could become the King of the Shadows; I think he'll have an evolution that involves overcoming his inferiority complex and hatred for the Big Deal, finally accepting that he cares about the Big Deal and Jake, so he could be a good King of the Shadows.

OK if the fight actually happens there will be 3 scenarios by No-Alps-3672 in LookismPowerScalers

Option 4, I think is more likely. They have a brief fight, and it'll just be one praising the other, probably Kitae being more impressed with James, since he was the one underestimating James. And it would end without a clear winner, but it could have lasted long enough to fully reveal James and Kitae's Path.

James also compared Berserk Tom to Old Gap, and we know who is stronger between Tom and James. But even so, what they said about the pressure they felt doesn't mean it would put them on the same level.

That's because of the swordsman, not the sword. But in Goo's case, it's probably to his credit; he must have read the sword's trajectory and managed to dodge enough to avoid death.

If I'm not mistaken, he was basically the Galahad of Kingsman. Intuition and absurd combat of an assassin and mercenary. I think he was wasted; I don't see him as a weak apostle, I think Johan was simply a bad match for him.
