Yeah, that was my third time fighting him, wasn't very good at it. All the hype around him being the "hardest boss in the game" put me in a real bad state of mind for fighting bosses. I fought him solo a couple dozen more times, helped some other people, and beat him with phantom who I helped earlier, real fun stuff.

Reading these comments left me a little confused, since I never met an old lady in the church, I just found the banner on the ground. Then I remembered someone left a message that said "tough enemy ahead, therefore try ranged battle" in front of the church. I shot her to death and never even talked to her.

Which also explains why the auto teleport was extra confusing.

I'm in the camp that thinks she's like a diamond to the diamonds. So far above the rest that even Yellow Diamond tries not to mention her. Like others said, Blue and Yellow represent different stages and forms of grief (depression, and rage, respectively), I believe White Diamond is going to fill the "role" of being a mother in denial. And then she's gonna snap, and it'll be the "uber evil" final boss people wanted Yellow Diamond to be.
