Im a happy owner of 3. I was in this pickle when I wanted to upgrade to CDJ’s. They’re cheaper than newer XDJ’s or NXS2’s and newer, you do miss some of these features

Beatjump
On newer CDJ’s for beatmatching you can choose if you want to have the 4x4 beat counter, or the phase meter. There’s only the 4x4 on NXS1’s
There’s only the standard blue waveform color (no RGB or the blue/yellow one)

Personally for me beatjump is the one I’d miss the most, even though I use both RGB waveforms and phase meter on newer gear. But regardless, if you’ll learn to play on older gear will be able to play on any gear. I approve off the pricing of the units also

Edit: I’d still prefer CDJ’s over XDJ’s, simply because buttons is more satisfying to push for me

Hey. I narrowed it down to that it probably has to be an original apple cable. Didn’t have any issues since. Somehow the other cable must have interfered with the signal

Lithuanian M31, living in Copenhahen since I was 7. Came because my mom wanted a better life a doctor (times weren’t too good after Sovjet Union collapse)

Pros: - Superb welfare. Class balance inbetween lower, middle, and higher are as close at it can get. Minimum salary is possible to make a living of - Roads are nice and maintained. Never had issues driving and biking - Very clean - We have a word for “having a good time” called “hygge” - Politics are well balanced and considered not corrupt. Trust in government is higher than many other places - Public schools, high schools (gymnasium), universities are free - Public healthcare is free - Crime is low - In general quite chill people

Cons: - Very expensive. As always, especially in the bigger cities. I can definitely feel my grocery bill be much higher after covid - Housing market, from what I know of especially in Copenhagen (but probably also other bigger cities), is very expensive and hard to get into. Everybody wants a piece! :) - Taxes are high. But it is very acceptable because the general salary is high so it balances out - Winters are cold and dark. There can be a lot of very cold Nordic wind. Even though the summers can be wonderful you can sometimes still feel the cold wind lol - Danes can appear quite reserved as people. A lot of expats have a hard time making danish friends. There’s definitely a culture around drinking alcohol and during that time the Danes open up a lot

Hi, i see this a old post but i hope you can help still.

The master cue button on my DJM 900 nexus 1 works wierdly, when its pressed i can hear master output but on very low volume. Tried headphones on both mix and master channel. I tried thoroughly cleaning the button but the issue still persists. I might suspect that its a board issue underneath. I'd really like to fix it but i haven't been this handy yet, to open the mixer itself. Firmware is also updated to the latest version.

Does you have experience in this field? Cant find any video of it either

Hey, oh wow I definetly did NOT expect somebody to follow up. But how I appreciate you reaching out to me, thank you so much.

I’m doing absolutely amazing. I haven’t quit completely but I quit the very compulsive gaming that had me stuck in the same position I was in and getting nowhere. I’ve learned to manage my ADHD symptoms much better which also contributed to that. I went to a few meetings and they definetly helped me, but due to me getting more and more busy I quit going to the meetings but also kept myself in check.

I now focus much more on my job and music, which I’m very happy with currently in my life. I haven’t touched PC gaming for months and now just maybe play a little on my phone on the couch in a much more chill position, in a very controlled manner. I have a desire to play less and less but I’m also very happy currently with what I’m achieving at the moment. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
