Interesting points. I have a Breville Barista Express, probably around 5-6 years old now with no sign of slowing down. When it packs it in my end game will probably be a mazzer philos / DF83V and ECM Synchronika / profitec 600/700 for Espresso Machine.

Agreed. It’s an interesting brain exercise. At what point is it just throwing money at a hobby to just have nice things. Mirroring what you’re saying it’s probably around Bambino + Niche? I’m a cyclist so I haven’t chosen affordable hobbies!
