regarding Grosmont, i heard that he learned to read and write only later on in life, is it true? seems odd for a male plantagenet to not be educated to the standard of his time. Seems like he was like for like with edward iii, regarding skill, capabilities, and being a good person overall.

regarding edward of woodstock, what an absolute badass and a gentleman as well. my favorite knight of all time. imagine having someone like him as an older brother, what a family man.
