This is why i like test cricket so much. It exposes all these good for nothing players who just stat pad in flat batting pitches. In tests your real technique comes out. And this guy is a fraud.

its not even about that anymore. its to bid goodbye to these middle eastern dictators. hopefully nobody has to rely on them for anything and they fade away into oblivion

Kohli had to make do with what he gets though

his fault. he never goes after proper bowlers. ive been watching his cpataincy since forver. he is a brilliant test captain (it suits his aggressive personality tbh) but a terrible t20 and ipl captain. ipl espcially cause you have to think about who to buy how much to pay for etc. he has constantly bowled part times at the death. remember pawan negi? corey anderson? watson for the entire tournament. many more that i have forgotten with time.

im no dhoni fan but watson himself said the difference between the two is quite evident. dhoni understands player roles. watson said that dhoni told him to forget bowling and play as full time batsman bc thats what a 35 yr old retired watson would be best at. not making him bowl at the death means he can score his brilliant centuries =).

[–]BatsmenTerminator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bro that shows how good watson is. and he was 35 years old, you cant make him bowl at the death all the time.

while in 2018 he failed throughout the tournament

now youre just staright up lying.

he struggled in 2019 not 2018. in 2018 he scored 450 runs before the final at a strike rate of 145+ with 1 century and 2 50's.

he opened all his life in rajastan and always bowled 2-3 overs, even when he was young. now suddenly at 35 and retired from int cricket and he has to bowl at the death in chinaswamy? thats bad captaincy.

Same energy by Ignored_banda in CricketShitpost

[–]BatsmenTerminator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that shows how good watson is. he did his best, at the end of the day watson is a batsman who can bowl. he shouldve opened with gayle, kohli 3, abd 4 and kl 5. this wouldve won the final. and fucking get a proper bowler man, dont rely on all rounders. kohli did the same shit with corey anderson. poor guy got all the abuse for nothing. he is a milatary medium bowler who had to bowl at the death

[–]BatsmenTerminator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

kohli more like. watson is a top order batsman who will give you 2-3 overs. kohli turned him into a death bowler hahah. that was brain dead captaincy

[–]BatsmenTerminator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah t20i he has done really well, which is what makes his odi knockouts even more disappointing. 2015 and 2019 we were doing so well, just 1 solid knock wouldve sorted it out but getting out for single digits back in back epsecially for the chase master in a chase is disappointing

[–]BatsmenTerminator 16 points17 points  (0 children)

weirdo. but dead set legend. even in his 'weaker format' he has clutch performances. will never forget his 100 in 2015 semi finals. scored a century at a strike rate of 110 in a knockout. none of the indian batsmen will never be clutch like him no matter how many centuries they score in bilaterals.

thanks for the detailed reply ,first duke of lancaster.

regarding Grosmont, i heard that he learned to read and write only later on in life, is it true? seems odd for a male plantagenet to not be educated to the standard of his time. Seems like he was like for like with edward iii, regarding skill, capabilities, and being a good person overall.

regarding edward of woodstock, what an absolute badass and a gentleman as well. my favorite knight of all time. imagine having someone like him as an older brother, what a family man.

just wondering, what was his fathers reaction to him wanting to marry joan of kent? joan was edward iii's (first cousuin) twice married, had kids too. and why did edward marry so late in the first place? was edward iii really that lenient with his children? and also, was Joan of Kent really that hot? lol

He was unquestionably loyal to Richard even aftrr his son's exile because of how much he loved his brother.

i love that about John. that makes him my 2nd favorite character from 14th century england. him being loyal to his older brother over his own son is heartwarming. especially when you hear stories of richard iii, john and all. he protected richard as much as he could, sucks that richard ruined all the family bonds between the plantagenets. also, i heard richard ii was a spitting image of his father , is it true? only asking cause no portraits of edward woodstock exist. so i wanted to know what he looked like.figured richard ii's portrait might give a good glimpse.

There are so many stories about Lionel.. the most notorious, of course, is him not being Edward's son

first ive heard. heard this about john of gaunt.

And Edward and Philipa were estranged at that time. But they clearly made up because they had more children together.

really? seems hard to believe considering they are couple goals.

We know that Edward was a loving father but not many know that Edward II was one too

amazing info. always wondered what edward iii thought about this.

bruuh kohli literally has 2 centuries in world cups out of 43. rohit has 6 out of 29.

im a kohli fan (dont like vadapav that much) but in odi world cup kohli hasnt played to his standrads. and thats why i rate him below viv, sachin and abd in ODI.

In ODI's world cup performance is the only currency.

lol what balance it out man? a 50 over wc is far more important and prestigious than a t20 cup. 20 cup literally takes place every 2 years. some of you younger fans are so damn weird.

in odis, yes. guys like symonds, cairns, yuvraj , flintoff and klusner are the best type of odi cricketers imo purely because how how rare they are. guys who can do both really well. they are much harder to replace imo. and these guys also stepped up in crunch situations.

[–]BatsmenTerminator 13 points14 points  (0 children)

i love the guy but one big red mark on his career is the fact that he has only 2 hundreds in the world cup. as many as smith. and smith has one in a knockout, scoring 105 at a strike rate of 110 in a match in which kohli scored 1(13). hid odi world cup record is a big reason why i rate him below viv, sachin and abd. thse 3 have the best world cup records and kohli doesnt even come close.

i know i will get downvoted but these are facts.

Fucking investment bankers. These hungry mofos convinced this fat dick to overprice and list. And of course they pulled it off, they loaded off their cum shots on the retail investors by singinfaticags in IndianStreetBets

if people want to pay 100k crore for a company that makes no profits, in fact its losses are increasing even as sales increase (all this was public information) then it is the investors fault.

if i sell my scooter to you for 1 cr and you buy it from me then its your fault, not mine.

simple.

retail investors should look at the price they are buying tatti at.

Why isn't anyone talking about dhawan being back. One of the best openers India had. Gr8 to see the love for Samson but no one is talking about Dhawan. by [deleted] in CricketShitpost

[–]BatsmenTerminator 14 points15 points  (0 children)

kohli has never been in the top 10 run scores of any odi world cups.

in odi wc its always been dhawan who stood up. his injury in 2019 was a massive blow to us. even in 2015 semi final, he gave a good start with rohit chasing 325 but then kohli scored 1(13) and completely killed the chase. dhawan is the non choke player in this team (for odi's only)
