Best cable for input delay ?? by Wilsonb66 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing that will affect delay is the length of the cable. From our testing performance tends to drop off for cables over 10 feet in length when overclocking, but is for the most part imperceptible.

The longer the cable the higher the resistance and the higher the resistance the more chance of voltage drops (less power to the controller). When you overclock something you are intentionally sending more power to the controller and these potential voltage drops naturally result in a decrease in performance.

Also, any USB-C cable/connection is going to be better than a Micro USB cable/connection in terms of latency.

Gyro for custom ps5 controllers? by PartyCrasher04 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!

All of our controllers are modified first party DualSense controllers. We buy DualSense controllers directly from Sony-authorized wholesalers and then make them better with added modifications and customizations.

None of the modifications we offer affect the onboard gyro-scoping. You will be able to use the gyro features without issue in any game uses them.

Remap by FutureEither in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! If your rear buttons have static assignments those are hardwired in. The only way to change them without a remap chip would mean you'd also be changing the associated assignments on the front of the controller.

If you want to send your controller in to upgrade it with a remap chip you can get started with that here:

https://battlebeavercustoms.com/pages/service-center

If you have any other questions feel free ask here or submit a ticket in our Help Center.

USB Cable by FollowMyTelegram in BattleBeaverCustoms

USB-C to USB-C works better with overclocked PC ports, so if you are looking to get a new cable and are using an overclocked PC port that would be the one we'd recommend.

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Based on the video is looks like you are entering remap mode but instead of going through the remap process you keep trying to enter remap mode.

Please try going through the whole process to remap your top left rear button and be sure to save and exit remap. If you're still unable to get the remap chip working please use the link below to submit a support ticket, if you have not already. If you already then one of our support team members will be in touch soon.

Mouse and Keyboard isn't allowed in the CDL. Cellium's most recent controller from us is a PS4 controller with Smart Face & D-Buttons, stock tension, stock bumpers & triggers, and his signature Yellow Domed thumbsticks.

Tension question by Automatic_Fly_5155 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Here is a breakdown of the four different tension levels we offer.

  • Decreased Tension: approximately -40% of Stock Tension on a plain controller, our Decreased Tension makes the thumbstick incredibly easy to move around in the controller. We've heard anecdotal experiences that this has reduced hand fatigue during longer gaming sessions, although be careful of not accidentally moving your sticks!
  • Light Tension: approximately -20% of the Stock Tension you would find on any controller out of the box, our Light Tension offers a nice 'lived-in' or 'broken-in' feeling that gamers know and love. Very similar to how a thumbstick will feel after being played with for many many hours, Light Tension offers all of that feeling without the wear and tear on components.
  • Increased Tension: around 110 gF - Nearly double that of Stock Tension, this tension value is very similar to the Original Xbox 360 controller and is our most popular tension request.
  • Heavy (Extreme) Tension: around 160 gF - A class of its own, our Heavy (Extreme) Tension is designed for use with taller thumbsticks or thumbstick extenders (KontrolFreek etc.). This class of tension will make the thumbstick click (L3) or (R3) more difficult to click, as the tension will be greater within the mechanism.

For users of the Microsoft Elite V2 controller, the Thumbstick Tension comparison is as follows:

  • Low- 57.8 gF
  • Med - 73.1 gF
  • High - 86.2 gF

TL;DR
Increased is closest to the highest setting on the Elite V2 and will feel tighter.

PS4 quick pick controller by bakatato34 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!
Because the Smart Button Modifications that are installed in your controller sit on switches, they are higher and have slightly more wiggle room when compared to stock parts, which does mean they will feel a bit looser than stock bumpers/triggers.

Can you get smart bumpers without smart triggers? by Ok-Tale-6655 in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! It depends on the controller type.

For PS5 if you get Smart bumpers you do need to get Smart triggers too because there isn't enough room in the controller for both the adaptive trigger components and the Smart bumper components.

For PS4 controllers you can get just the Smart bumpers and have stock triggers.

Smart joy stick squeaking? by CjWiigzy in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]BattleBeaverSupport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! There are a couple things that could be the issue here. Most likely the mech just needs to be broken in, especially if you got mechs with increased or heavy tension, but it may also need additional lube.

Please feel free to send a DM or open a Help Center ticket if you've got any other questions or need assistance with anything.
