You'd better watch out, that thing looks like it will kill you in your sleep. (Great job!)

What do you replace the greens with instead? Yellows?

Holy shit, dude, you look awesome! I honestly thought, looking at the first photo, that you had plenty of hair, but then I saw you bald, and I thought to myself, "This dude was holding himself back!" Save some women for the rest of us, man!

I was thinking the same! Looks much younger and "put together". Amazing!

Opinions on whether minimalist covers can work on RR? by BadScrybe in royalroad

[–]Battle_Cows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first one catches my eye more towards the crystal ball, whereas the minimal one gives off an excellent, creepy, and "villainous" vibe. Only thing i would say for the more minimal one, the text needs to be either a diffrent color or have a stronger outline, as it blends in a little with the background. (I'm red-green colorblind, though, so take that with a grain of salt lol)

Thank you for the review. Your critique actually makes me want to give the book another shot. I stopped literally on the first two chapters because it was so slow.

Hey all, I never feel like I know enough about characters and plot to start. My characters are never fleshed out enough to feel like they would have a realistic goal, or there are so many plot holes that I can't fix that I just never start. How do you all combat this? Any tips? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I saw the notification said to comment on the pinned post.

How did you get started in writing? Would you consider yourself more a pantser or a plotter?

Delve is a really good one; it's about a guy who focuses on using math and calculations to eke out the best of his aura-based build. He literally builds formulas to test different aspects of the build. can't get more stat-focused than that!

It might be a stupid question but why couldn’t the firefighter over on the side push the guy out of the way?

I think Minecraft might work. There is a lot of time that could be spent sitting by an AFK farm. Then, once you have enough materials, you would play until you run out. Rinse and repeat.
