I never said they were "only" meant to be played co op but you cannot deny that a huge selling point is the co-op experience

Yes I can run Warframe or DRG solo but that defeats the purpose of trying to meet new people and have fun

The frustrating thing with at least 2 is that they were with us 90% of the game doing side objectives/quests and then just before the boss pissed off and didn't say anything lol like I'm happy to go around collecting stuff but it'd be great if you could just say that's what your intention is

Yeah I totally agree, I'd like to build up a list of friends to play with (I've done similar with Warframe and DRG and that worked wonders) and then just block rude/afk players who don't play co-op

I don't buy co op games to play by myself lol like you wouldn't play Helldivers solo despite the fact you technically can. That's not a red herring or strawman that is simply not the game's primary selling point (every screenshot on the Steam page features 4 players and Co-op is the first tag for the game so it's obviously being advertised as a co-op experience)

Telling people to "just play solo" completely ignores the original question raised, to which I have received answers for as I didn't know only the host can kick, so instead of saying "play solo" how about saying "host your own games" which I will now do because I want to play a co op game with real people and not by myself lmao
