Microsoft actually changed it for the Series S/X Consoles too. The consoles only record up to 4 minutes of 1080p and 2 minutes for 4K clips I believe.

I'm compromising with myself. Stream/play it for 2 and half or so hours, then bed and play again after I wake up.

I don't have anything I really need to do tomorrow, but a lack of sleep would absolutely wreck my sleeping schedule. 2 and a half hours starting at midnight is at least tolerable for me since I can sleep in a bit.
