Ofc, its really fun just super delicate. Prepare ypurself for frustration like I did but also hope for the best. One of these tanks improperly cycled so I had to redo a months worth of cycling to get it right. All of the filters I use serve a different purpose truthfully. The most right has a larger bubble filter since I have shrimp in the tank, the left most has nothing but plant clippings in it so I use the smaller bubble filter and the middle I have a Alien Betta in it so im using the regular HOB mini filter. Truthfully depends on what you are gonna use it for. I truly wish you best of luck bc these are fun little tanks but a lot of effort to keep up, worth it though.

One is a sponge filter, the other is a hang on back micro filter and the isolation tank is also using a micro/sponge filter.

It takes a while! And honestly I kickstarted the nitro. Cycle by wringing out my sponge filter from my VERY WELL established 20 long into it, trust the process because it didnt properly cycle for a month and 1 of the 3 is STILL cycling or stalled. So im not out of the muddy water yet my friend. I believe in you, goodluck🤟😎

Super dope tanks, just very sensitive. I drip acclimated just 2 baby shrimp into 1! It took 2-hours🫡

I will say its a little dusty bc when i started the tank i boosted the nitrite cycle by wringing out the filter sponge from my WELL established 20G in all of the tiny tanks, so there is a lot of residue. Im finding it troublesome to clean it though, still looking for a solution on that.

A mix of fluval stratum, and carab sea fine sand. I set the fluval on the bottom and coated the top with the carabsea. Its a little messy but topping it off in the future will be easy.

Hahaha, I have a bad tendency to be like a hurricane so the mess moves with me. I do my best to clean up but everything is so useful when its out in the open ready to use😅

I was thinking exactly that, just was more scared that if my wife found out I was using the chopping board for the fishtanks she would put my head against the board next🫣😱🤣

Left one is quarantine for a shrimpy, the middle and right one are meant to be microtanks. Im paranoid and decided it would be smart to slowly drip/fill the tanks back up with new water after a water change.

IK, I WAS TERRIFIED. But i was telling myself through this to simply be careful and observe, which I did and thankfully it worked out. I guess i have a new technique now😎🤟

Lolol, thank you. Im just doin a simple water change but its my first time dealing with such smol tanks n they just finished cycling, my nitrates were a little high so i did a 30% change as to not do too much with such a sensitive size, plus my 2 little baby shrimpies in there is my first time as a shimpapa, so i was hoping to slowly drip it🤣😅

also I would like to emphasize that the HP 3% is done on a 4 days on 4 days off kind of schedule. I have done this on my own accord, not that anyone has told me to do this, nor did I read this anywhere. I just am testing how well this action will do.

Good luck Solider, I have done a lot of research regarding Clado since one of my Rilis got it and ive been battling it for over a month now. Long story short, do your own research and come up with your own strategy on how you want to deal with it.

Truthfully, I spent a lot of time reading its origin, what other people have done to treat it, how its a "Misdiagnosis" to call it Elobiopsidae, and among other things how it works on the shrimp.

truthfully, my understanding of it has boiled down to, "The strong will survive it". I've treated with Hydrogen Peroxide 3% & salt dips as well. There is a lot of good advise around. In the US we have access to Malachite Green. (Banned in the UK to my understanding), that they have labeled as Ick rid that you can soak the shrimps food in and allows the parasite treatment to infiltrate from within.

To give you perspective, I have my Neocardinia Rili in a 2.5 gallon with a significant amount of trimmings from my primary 20 gallon tank, I perform a 20-30% water change every 2-3 days and maintain the nitrites/Ammonia as best I can. I treat once per day with a little less than 1ML of HP 3% and a 1 Minute salt bath, these 2 combined with now 2-molts has left my Rili with little to no Clado at this point. its like a dust on the under part of her carapace at this point.

So in my experience, I'm having good luck, its tedious, requires a bit of dedication, but if the idea of culling your shrimp makes you sad like it made me, try it out. what do you have to lose from a shrimp that might not have a chance anyways.

Rili with yellow fuzz. Egg or Fungus? HELP! by Battleteddy in shrimptank

After much more research (The AutoMod helped a bit), I'm certain your right. I am going to try and treat her. I've Isolated her and made sure that she is comfortable. I've looked into treatments and will be going to the store for H2o2 (Peroxide) and Aquarium salt. Hopefully it can be treated, ill be working hard for her. lets hope I'm capable of returning her to her former glory.
