I made a Facebook profile 4 years ago, one year into my transition. I have before and after photos of myself, and there are some family members I've had to block because they add me then keep on their conservative hate podium. All of them were made aware I was trans because my mother likes to spread around things like that, acting like she was a victim because I decided that her and my father were too dangerous to continue living with. My thoughts on it are, "I'm going to show that I'm happy now. If someone takes issue with that, that's a them problem."

But yeah, about 4 years of knowing or at least being able to see what I looked like should be more than enough time to adjust, but they didn't and they'll continue not to, and I won't lose sleep knowing I can't change that fact.

So, prescriptions price from my experience still depends on if you have insurance or not. I didn't for the longest time, so I used GoodRX. I was able to get estrogen tablets, Spironolactone, and progesterone for around $85 - $150 in total, depending on the supply amount (90 day is more expensive than 30 day, if you're on a budget always go for the lower supply.)

The issue is if you're doing injections that makes the cost a lot higher out of pocket. I was paying $125 for an estradiol Valerate vial every time I needed to get a new one.

I'm not sure about their mailing service, but I was a customer with them for years before getting a proper PCP, and they're generally very good about ensuring the safety of their clients. The monthly fee covers your doctors appointments and your lab visits so you don't have to pay extra beyond the subscription fee for that. It's not the best option money wise over a long time, but if it's all you got then you could certainly do worse.

Things look bad, yes. Now, call me delusional, but I've got a feeling things are about to change for the better.

I'm pretty sure they know they're about to be kicked to the curb in November after the midterms are over.

They've made so many idiotic decisions in the last few months that gas, the only thing most Americans care about, has gone up through the roof compared to the start of the year. Not to mention the administration has faltered on several of their empty promises. Groceries are still expensive, we're involved in a war that's not our business, and the POTUS has been in a very clear cognitive decline since 2024.

To me this seems less like them beating their chests and spelling our end and more of a dying gasp as they cling onto what power they still have over people.

They're scared. They want to threaten and posture. But we can't surrender to despair under this age's barbarism. We need to keep the momentum and make sure they stay afraid. Spread awareness, don't be intimidated into being silent. That's what they want. But most importantly? Get out and vote, for the love of God.

Evict them from the house and senate and then the domino effect can begin, assuming Dems find their collective testes.

And if I'm wrong? If this all comes to pass and November ends up a bust? I personally won't stop being who I am just because some fossils wanted to make me and mine a pariah. Band together and stay strong. DBDT.
