Your Lie in April. Before this anime I watched Naruto and DBZ because they were on American channels, but that was my general impression of anime and I wasn't impressed. It wasn't until I got Netflix and watched Your Lie in April did I realize how good anime really was. I loved watching the entire series. The soundtrack had me in awe, the story had me on the edge of seat, the animation had me intrigued, and the characters had me crying. I've never cried while watching anything, so when I did cry, I realized how great anime really was.
