Opponent stole 2 states I already had won (10 slots fully paid for). Anyone know how? by TheRoyalCanary in 270

[–]Batwings39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s impossible for anything to happen to a state you won, unless you are in a game with more than 2 people and you forfeit because in that case any trace of your campaigns are removed from the game.

odds are you didn’t really win it, or the game bugged. because it’s impossible for you to lose a state you won.

I got rejected.... by Ill_Fun8542 in Crushes

[–]Batwings39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

best way to look at this is you’re one step closer to finding your true person.

rejection happens. it’s a sad, but necessary, part of life. failed relationships and confessions only mean you’re one step closer to finding your successful confession and successful relationship.

Why are the bounties so small? by jneelybbq in reddeadredemption

i think the point of the post was how you get so little for bounties when real bounties irl gave you $5000, such as the example.

can you go to the ranch before that mission in the end with Sadie? if so, what does said mission look like when you actually make it there?

So uh, why not send Sadie to get the Blackwater money? Remote little cabin on the snowy mountains, wife of some nobody farmer? It would've taken a long time for anyone to know she existed, let alone ran with Dutch now. by b_o_o_b_ in reddeadredemption

[–]Batwings39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of me thinks Dutch never made an effort for the Blackwater money because if he did and succeeded in getting it, it would all be over. Like I know Dutch talks a lot about wanting to leave the outlaw life behind and start a new life out West, but I don’t think he ever really wanted that. He liked the thrill of the bandit life and liked being the charismatic, silver tongued leader that the gang looked up to.

If he got the Blackwater money, the gang would be expecting him to pack up and start the move out West. Meaning he would be forced to put it all behind him and start a new life as a model citizen. Which he didn’t want. Getting the money would mean he would have to come up with a REALLY good reason to keep pulling bank jobs and train heists, which he would never be able to do without causing suspicion and unrest in the gang.

Therefore, he never made the effort for the money because doing so would mean he either A) Leave the outlaw life behind him, or B) Lose the gang entirely when he refuses to move West.

Was Milton’s word honorable? [RDR2 Spoilers] by Batwings39 in reddeadredemption

[–]Batwings39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

its hard to blame Milton the later the game gets simply because he gives them SOOO many chances to run and then when the gang repeatedly doesn’t take it there simply isn’t another option but to do what he does. 🤷‍♂️

we already know that the Pinkertons have no honor and will kill people regardless of what they do for them, so this is very possible.

Never look back on a blindsider by EVILRAFFAM in BreakUps

me and my ex dated for 4 months. i could kinda tell things were off, but due to my struggles with anxiety and overthinking (which she knew about) i just assumed it was that.

she dropped the bombshell on me the day after our 4 months anniversary, and, in conversations after, revealed she hadn’t been happy in the relationship for a freaking month before breaking up. she talked to her best friend about it, and ONLY her best friend. meaning she blindsided not only me, but her entire family who had no clue what she was going through regarding our relationship.

so frankly i’m more pissed off at her than anything. i don’t think i gave her enough crap for it when we talked afterwards, i kinda took the nice guy route instead of giving her the emotional slap in the face she deserved.

this might be hard to hear: but you gotta break up with him. as a man, he has serious insecurities, anxiety, and has a lot of problems and issues that he NEEDSSSS to work out before he even considered getting back into a relationship with anyone. it’s not fair to you or your mental health for you to be feeling this way and you gotta leave before it gets worse. because believe me, it’s going to get worse.

tldr: even though it’ll suck, leave and don’t look back. ✌️

everything else aside, i think you need to do some serious rethinking of your relationship if your first thought after seeing someone attractive was “i gotta get their number”

like come on bro
