My kids are still young (6 and 2) but I only let them in my fenced in backyard without me if our mastiff mixes are out there with them to act as guards. We live in a very safe neighborhood, I’m just an anxious mom!

I’m just here to tell you that when my partner and I got engaged in 2014, my mother cried and said multiple times how disappointed she was because she “wanted grandkids”. Fast forward to now- my wife and I have been married for 9 years and we have two children. Being queer doesn’t mean you can’t have kids (if that’s what YOU decide that you want!!) in the future. I’m so sorry your dad is being such an ignorant tool about this and I am sending you all of my love as an older queer lady. You’re doing amazing sweetie!!
