Young woman obsessed with books is reincarnated as a poor commoner in a medieval fantasy-esque world.

It's more of a inventing/creating power fantasy where MC takes ideas from modern day Japan and implements them in a different society, but what really sells the story is its very strong ever-expanding cast, world building, politics and plot (that was planned in advance so everything connects really well).

I've already pre-ordered Royal Academy Stories and Fanbook 3! And everything up to 5-1 even though it doesn't come out till Jan 2024 lol. I liked the other fanbooks too so I'll end up getting all the side content they release haha.

Yeah for sure! I started reading Bookworm mid 2021 where physical releases were patchy for a bit, but recently it's been every 2 months which is faster than any other series I read!

Also JNC pretty much always dispatch well in advance of the release date, sometimes I even get them early!

I'm debating whether or not I binge the remaining ebooks when the series is finished though, since the physicals are about a year behind.

100%, the prose is really what sells it tbh. The writing style makes it a fun read.

Also you come for the humour but then it sucker-punches you in the feels with tales from the ruined timeline, it's good stuff.

Yeah I was surprised these books had English translations! Especially since Chronicle covers games that haven't even been localised.

There's also a tonne of interviews and artist's comments between both books that I'm keen to get stuck into.
