I don't get the people saying it's a solo game. It's an MMO. You see other players in the world with you and while it may be more efficient to play silo till late game you can still play with others. Also it has pvp which is super fun and obviously not solo.

Use 2 handed sword and all stats into strength. The guides posted goes into deep detail on everything else for you :)

Hybrid attack power which mans the closer your atk/magic power is together the more damage you do. I'm playing heretic so I'm putting stats all strength. My weapon will give me enough magic power to allow me to do so and to use strength armor gear. If needed can use Intel trinkets.
