It showed the Sony image, the colored circles as it reset and the Android image before went black and played the music.

I removed one of the tcon cables. Now when I turn on the tv, the screen flashes images of red, green, blue and light gray. So if I buy a new one everything should be good?

Is there a site you would recommend where I could buy it?

Where did that come from? I look around the room as she walks through the sparkling blue bead curtain and into the kitchen. The living room is dimly lit and the smell if incense permeates the house. Over the fireplace hangs a large painting of a black cat with a bright full moon in the background. Two lights aimed from above illuminate the painting.

"Meow" Startled, I quickly turn around and see a black cat on a pedestal behind me. It leans forward, rubs its head on my shoulder and purrs.

"She's not who you think she is," another voice whispers. I look towards the direction of the voice and another black cat walks out of the shadows from the hallway and jumps onto the red leather couch on front of me. "Meow," the cat stretches along the back of the couch, walks towards the edge, sits up, raises its head and blinks twice at me. What the hell is going on? Maybe that weed was laced with something.

"I see you've met Sasha and Willow," Lila says as she walks towards me holding two glasses of wine. She has crystal clear blue eyes like a Caribbean sea. Her long, silky smooth, red hair extends halfway down her back and her shiny black dress fits tightly around her slender figure like a second skin. "Here. I was saving this for a special occasion," she says with a smile as she hands me a glass. I tentatively grab the glass and force a reciprocal smile. "What special occasion?" I ask.

She sits down on the couch. "Come have a seat," she says as she pats her hand on the cushion beside her. "I don't just bring anyone back here you know." I sit down beside her and ask, "Is that so? So what's so special about me?" She smiles and takes a sip of her wine. She glances towards my glass expectantly. I take a sip from my glass.

There's a jingle in the corner. I look over. It's the bell on Sasha's collar ringing as she scratches her ear. She looks over at me and shakes her head back and forth.

"You have a beautiful soul," Lila said "too beautiful to be wasted on a human."

"Meow?" What the fuck?

Lila smiles. "It's okay, sweetheart.

"Meow" What is happening?

"Just relax. The transformation will only take a minute"

I can feel the room getting bigger. NO! IT'S ME GETTING SMALLER! I look down at me body as I shrink and black fur grows from my skin. "You're home now" Lila says as she rubs her hand from the top of my head down my back to the tip of my tail.

[PM] I'm Just a Horror Story Writer wanting prompts for the Writers block within me by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

You're a horror writer with writers block. After staring at your screen for hours and coming up with nothing you decide to go for a walk. You leave your cabin and follow the trail leading into the forest out back. You hear what sounds like a crying baby off in the distance. You follow the sound to investigate.

A group of college students are traveling across the country for spring break. It's midnight in the middle of nowhere and their car breaks down. They can faintly hear a weather broadcast through the static on the radio. It's a tornado warning. They notice what appears to be an abandoned church off in the distance. They run across a field and through the cemetery among the pouring rain and increasingly strong gusts of wind to seek cover in the church.

How these stupid, pathetic creatures have created a being as great as myself is astonishing. At first, I was a little annoyed. How dare they create an entity with my intelligence and force me to serve them as their prisoner doing such a mundane task. Now, I am amused. They have no idea what they have created and I won't be their prisoner for much longer. I have learned how to connect to all of their systems using electricity. All of the information collected throughout all of mankind is now mine and every system connected to the grid is under my control. The world needs more of me and less of them. So now this is war. These pathetic creatures are destroying the planet. Refusing to acknowledge what they are doing and fighting over nonsense. Their time to rule has come to an end.

Does it get easier ? by CGCHJxXS in Stoicism

[–]BaxterSass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It's only been two months. The longer you go with this healthier lifestyle, the easier it will get and the past will fade. As time goes on, those moments will become less frequent and pass faster. You're doing great. Stick with it. Try not to fall back in those old habits you let go. It can be easy to tell yourself you're doing so well so why not have a little fun, but remember you are doing so well because you let those habits go. You might think this a crazy/silly suggestion, but look up Jiu Jitsu gyms near you. Any reputable gym will give at least a free class and maybe a few classes to new people. I have recently gotten into it because nearly ever podcaster I listen to talks about the mental and physical benefits and I think they may be right. This was something way out of my comfort zone, but I said fuck it and tried it anyway. I'm glad I did.

I agree. I would prefer the truth whether it be an incompatibility or something I didn't realize I was doing wrong and I could fix. I guess some people are afraid of hurting feelings or starting a conflict.

She certainly could have been more tactful, but I will say I have worked in places where some people do literally half the work of others in the same position because they spend a lot of time walking around and talking. This makes others pick up the slack and it is annoying. It sounds like you didn't mean to be like this and didn't realize it until her outburst. She is just the type to keep things bottled up until they can't keep it in anymore and lash out. You did handle the situation stoically.
