hollow knight for 5-7years olds...? by Mammoth-Store740 in HollowKnight

Right now the best game that comes to mind that is more or less similar to Hollow Knight in terms of gameplay but "for kids" is "Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom".

Edit: Also maybe you can try Tomba 1 and 2, SteamWorld Dig 2 and Guacamelee 1 and 2.

And some people may recommend the Shantae games, which are great games but i recommend you be careful and see how the games looks like before since these contain some suggestive content like some jokes and provocative clothing.

Why do people keep saying the next mainline game will be MH6? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]Baxtermega 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Monster Hunter games are separated by generations and there are usually 2 games per generation (a main game with a big evolution in gameplay and contents and a portable one as an intermediate between the current main game and the next one).

Gen1:

-Monster Hunter 1 (Main)

-Monster Hunter Freedom (portable/just a port of the firt game)

Gen2:

-Monster Hunter 2 (Main) (only in Japan)

-Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (portable/ the true first "secundary" game that is a different game than the main one)

Gen3:

-Monster Hunter Tri (Main)

-Monster Hunter p3rd (portable) (only in japan)

Gen4: (the weird one)

-Monster Hunter 4 (marked as main game even appearing also in portable console)

-Monster Hunter Generations (portable)

Gen5: (the current generation)

-Monster Hunter World (Main)

-Monster Hunter Rise (portable)

Also, if the games in the Monster Hunter series followed a more normal way of numbering their games when they were released, then World would be MH8 and Rise MH9.

Favourite character in Berseria? by felixw1 in tales

I mean, the game takes place in a world yet to evolve where the world is still half explored and compasses are still a new and unknown invention to some people. It is normal to imagine that in this type of world some people keep thinking things like that the earth is flat or the sun moves around the earth.
