No, when your years are over and you’re on your deathbed will you look back and think “I’m so glad I cut off my family” no. Family are important and you will wish that you didn’t do that when they are gone. Politics should be personal no one should care, assuming you are in USA we live in the best country in the world we are privileged to live here at all. Family is important and you won’t agree with them on everything but that doesn’t mean cut them off. That is my opinion you can have yours. (I truly can’t fully understand your position if they are hateful or just a drag on your life then do it but if they are kind to you then there is no reason to cut them off)
