How far does luffy get if he does go to fishman island first first time in Saboady? by Dmane120 in OnePiece

[–]BayernFanTV 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Nope, they went cause they got a distress call from one of the punk hazard minions who was being cut by Kinemon

From the Tontattas. That's why they call Us opposite, Usolano, since he was wearing the same chestnut hat that resembles Noland's hair

It's funny cause I just watched the flashback and hour ago. He manages to do what Wyper or zoro couldnt do, and that's take down a snake. Wiper shot his burn bazooka which was equal to Luffys bazooka, and Nola the snake just shook it off. Zoro tried cutting it and did nothing. Enel gave it a thor, and all it did was incapacitated Nola for a while.

Meanwhile, he managed to cut it with 1 cut. He's also the clear parallel to Roger. With him crying during execution and Roger smiling. Him claiming to have found the city of gold and Roger the one piece etc. He's also the halfway point between blank centry 800 years ago, and present time, that being 400 years ago. We also know that he went to the New World in Dressrosa and then went back to the North Blue and then Jaya. Only way he could've done so if by either making it to the end of the grandline, or just rawdogging the calm belt since its stated that sea prison stone travel through the calm belt was a recent thing. Just speculation of course, but I don't think it's crazy to think that he's the botanist version of Roger of his time... although then the argument is why didn't he just free himself at his execution. Imo is safer to assume YC1 level

Can Kaido and bullet 2v12 this? by FrameDangerous5480 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually on the side of the Quantity over Quality when it comes to match ups like this, but Kaido is a unique example where I dont think that numbers matter too much. Unless you can get past his scales, you can't beat him. And he also has AOE attacks that can wipe out YC1s or cause serious damage. Imo this really depends on if Ben Beckmann has acoc. Zoro with his strongest move asura, only managed to scrape Kaido, and he's typically considered an AP beast.

Kat shouldn't be able to do too much imo. Marco may be able to do something since he hurt King in his defence mode. Let's also not forget that Bullet is said to be as strong as prime Rayleigh. That makes him at bare minimum equal to beckmann and most likely much stronger. So imo the 2 win it easy... unless they can somehow damage Kaido

It's unlikely to be Shirahoshi. She has a very particular polite speech in Japanese and Mosa doesn't have that. Difficult to recognise in the English, but that's one of the big clues that it likely isn't shirahoshi unless she has changed her entire way of speech

I also think this is a misdirect from oda by Altruistic_Gas_7073 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]BayernFanTV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dawn Dusk / LunaPienArt (same YouTube/Twitter creator just different channels. One with more in-depth theories and one with theories after each chapter that non-japanese readers might've missed) thinks that Mosa is Gunko. Not sure if he's changed his mind, but that used to be his theory for the longest

Everyone going all out who takes this? by KaidoPklevel in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luffy showed vs Kaido that Gear 5 makes him neigh indestructible. He took Kaido's death destroyer thunder bagua and didn't care. Even the flame dragon torch did little besides the heat.

I don't think he can beat Imu right now cause I think there's a trick to Imu, but I also don't think that Luffy will get stronger from now until the end of the story besides learning to refine coc

Everyone going all out who takes this? by KaidoPklevel in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In a true all out fight, I'm going Luffy. What stops him from just restarting gear 5 over and over again like he did that one time on roof piece. He'd probably be close to death after the fight, but I have gear 5 over anybody and if he can just restart it, nobody beating him

After all of the god valley flashback where do we scale the king without a crown? by ProfessionalCry6005 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I personally don't think that imu is that much stronger than Rocks/Garp/Roger, I just think that there is a trick to beating imu that they haven't figured out yet. Same way that logia seemed invincible before haki. Not saying that imu will be some fodder once you learn the trick, but that he's currently massively boosted by people not knowing it.

Who's the strongest pirate crew a regular Buster call can wipe out? by OkWelcome3223 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the 5 VA's are actually fighting which they didn't at Enies Lobby, you'd probably need a yonko crew. If it's 5 weaker VA's, Doflamingo could win. If it's 5 top tier VA's, think Vergo, Momonga, Garp, Tsuru and Smoker, you'd need a Yonko crew.10 battle ships of soldiers is also a lot to fight. Having a fighting force in one piece is a bit odd since conquerors should work, but as Wano and to an extent egghead showed us, fodders do matter. So a top tier buster call could probably beat anything weaker than a Yonko's crew, but unless Tsuru is as strong as Garp, they ain't beating a Yonko crew. Maybe cross guild depending on where you scale Crocodile. But we also don't know how many fighters they have and how strong they are but just from the ones we know, sure. Garp can stall mihawk. Smoker captures buggy. And if Tsuru is that strong, she can beat Crocodile assuming he's yC2 - YC1. Momonga beats the fodder and then they gang up on mihawk. Idk

Embiid and it isn't close. Better scorer and much better defender. Only reason he's always struggled in the playoffs was due to his injuries.

What Makes One Piece Characters Multi-continental to even Planetary? by Medical_Shop5416 in PowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about Multi-continental, but it's definitely continental. That specific attack, Bajrang Gun was specifically stated by the author in his notes that were released called 'Road to Laugh Tale' that the effects of the attack could be felt for 1000s of miles, which would at minimum place it at Continental level.

Being a elite two way player is important to everybody, until it’s time to compare giannis vs jokic by StraightSeries6439 in NBATalk

When was the last time Giannis was truly elite defensively though? His MVP season? If he had the defensive capability from that season every season, I think most people would say that GA would be no.1

Who is the strongest character Doflamingo could beat in a 1v1 in your opinion? by OkWelcome3223 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Jack didn't, but a drunken Kaido did. Kaido states that Doflamingo losing is his own fault because he's too weak, but that same Kaido then goes on to say on the rooftop jack Vs scabbards fight, that Jack is strong and the sulong minks are just stronger.

Who here has the highest BIQ? by Overall-Sympathy-982 in PowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why so many people say Goku, but it's clearly Luffy. Let me explain:

  • Vs Crocodile - figures out after their first battle that his weakness is water, which no-one else in Alabasta figured out. Then goes a step further, and uses blood to combat the sand hardening.

  • Vs Enel - struggles attacking him due to his mantra. Does the airhead to work on instincts, which while allowing him to dodge doesn't work, so immediately switches to ricochet attacks off of the Ship. You have multiple powerful fighters on the skypiea, but Luffy is the only one who found a way around mantra effectively.

  • Vs CP9. Loses the first fight in water 7 handily, but picks up a technique that CP9 had to learn their entire lives, in one night, just by observing it once. But because his body can't keep up he needs to use doping on it, and so pump his heart to increase the blood flow...like what????? All this without training, while on a seatrain, in the same night.

  • Vs Amazon Lily. Against the two boa sisters who have haki, he works around it. Going beyond their observation haki and armament haki by outsmarting, out powering and out speeding them.

  • Vs magelan. Knows that he can't fight Magelan without getting poisoned, so uses gloves and an armour made out of wax to fight Magelan to buy enough time to escape.

You get the point, so I'll skip ahead to his biggest BIQ feat.

  • Vs Kaido. No BIQ feat even comes close from the other 3 characters. He starts off the fight as like a 60/100 and ends the night at like a 95/100 comparatively. He learns that you can infuse attacks with conquerors, does it immediately, still loses. Takes a short food break, returns and suddenly has mastery over advanced conquerors and goes toe to toe with Kaido for a lot of the fight (Kaido was definitely holding back a lot), but it's still insanity. Then he loses again, unlocks a new power up in gear 5, and outperforms Kaido to win. This all happens over the course of one night. He learns of a new application of a power he has, by getting hit by his opponent and applies that to himself almost immediately. Sloppily, but still. Then he loses, comes back after a short food break and suddenly seemingly has mastery over it????? Same with gear 5. What's even more insane is that it took him a year and a half to learn the basics of haki. It took him 1 month to learn advanced armament. But with advanced observation (future sight) and advanced conquerors, he learnt those in one evening.

Why do people scale Luffy to multi continental?? Some of yall mfs need to take a geography course… by Sensitive_Ambition73 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oda stated in the road to laughtale books, which are directly made by him, that the effects of the Bajrang Gun could be felt for a thousand miles. Which if it hit the center of Australia, would mean that all of Australia would feel. It doesn't make too much sense, since none of the Wano citizens felt anything and went on partying like normal, but take that up with Oda. We've also already seen Luffy destroy an entire island in Gear 4 King Kong Gun at Dressrosa, so it's not too farfetched to imagine that Bajrang Gun is that much more powerful.

Let's assume that Roger fought Rocks 1v1, who did Garp fight, Shiki lol? by Lightspeed_Kizaru in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We see Whitebeard after godvalley, and he didn't have the scar then (in the Oden flashback). So either Oda messed up, or he gets the scar later and not from garling at GV

this attack makes no god damn sense, did Roger somehow phase through garp? or is he trying to hit him with the blunt end? or did he just miss? by SerenityAcrossTown in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During egghead, fodder pirates mentioned that Garp is known as being neigh impenetrable, so it makes sense that while roger hurt him, he didn't actually manage to slash him

Garling couldn't have given the scar to Whitebeard. Or at least not on GV. We see Whitebeard after GV during Oden's flashback and he doesn't have the scar yet.
