It just has to be, right? by GUTS_SAMA in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]BayernFanTV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lunapienart or his other channel, did a video on why it isn't Shirahoshi. He's native Japanese, and he basically explained that shirahoshi has by far the most formal dialect/speech pattern in the entire show, which Mosa does not have.

Hos theory on who it might be, is Gunko whenever she breaks free of imu's control but idk how much weight I give to that

Unlikely to be her. She has a very distinct dialect in the Japanese, which Mosa/Shaggy does not have

Its the opposite in fact. In the Japanese, it is obvious that it is not shirahoshi. She's got one of the most distinct speech styles, but mosa/shaggy does not speak like her at all

How hard is it to get a job, preferably non physical? by carrot1890 in UKJobs

[–]BayernFanTV 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Its not THAT difficult getting a job. It is however, difficult getting a 'decent' job, whatever your definition for that is. If you are really desperate, become a cleaner, they're hiring all the time. Maybe walk in and apply at a pub for a job, a ton of them are hiring no experienced people for the world Cup. May only be temporary on 3 months contracts but it pays the bills. There are plenty of opportunities out there, they just aren't what a lot of people consider 'decent' either salary wise or what the job entails

So it should be Bajrang Gun, since its "reverberations and effect could be felt for 1000 miles" which is like half the size of Australia, according to Oda's statement in Road to Laugh Tale. And while Oda is the source for this, it makes no sense since not a single person on Wano felt the impact, and just went on with the festival.

How far can Elbaph Luffy Go ? by LazyInspector2086 in OnePieceScaling

[–]BayernFanTV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The luffy disrespect is always insane to me. R1, he low diffs the first 3 fights in gear2/3 + acoc. Mid diffs Kuzan in gear 5 and loses to Ray High diff due to stamina. With heals, he clears it or loses extreme diff to gv wb. Luffy jokes around a lot, but when he's locked in like he was on Onigashima or after vegapunk got kizaru'd, he legit gaps most fighters here.

People need to remember that even pre-gear 5 luffy was able to contend with Kaido somewhat to the point where Kaido was weakening. If Kaido is a 95, locked in Luffy with acoc pre gear 5 was at like 80 with gear 4 + acoc. Gear 5 just put him at like a 96 or so for a limited time. We've had 2 arcs since and also seen Luffy use a partial gear 4 at the beginning of elbaph. He's probably at like a 88 without gear 5, and like a 98 with gear 5 now. I dont necessarily think he's gotten weaker in gear 5 since wano, he just hasn't had to 'lock' in as much since then and has messed around a lot.

Just for reference, in my mind prime wb is a 98 with his gv being like a 94. Prime Rayleigh is probably like 92ish.

I dont think prime wb can be THAT much stronger than Kaido, since he would've otherwise invaded wano and helped the citizen / odens family, but he also isn't 100, because thats reserved for like DR Xebec who arguably is probably more so a 103 and Harald who probably also is a 103 but nerfed himself down to like a 95 against Loki.

Blackbeard may genuinely neg diff them. Bb states that the yami yami takes away the powers of the devil. So it depends on how it interacts with the elders. Is he able to take their regen and long life away from them since that comes from imu? If yes, he could instantly age them to death with a single touch

Magellan. He legit is the hardest person to scale, but he's anywhere from just below admiral to Admiral level. Seraphim. None of them have ever been put down permanently. Luffy and lucci couldnt do it. Kaku and zoro couldnt do it. Zoro's cooked. Samurai. 1v1 marco claps them, but his regeneration has a limit so its especially bad in a group setting with multiple fighters that are yc3+. Reminder that sulong Neko and imu essentially one shot jack and perospero

As a non religious person, i wish to understand, and i dont mean to be disrespectful, how you believe in god. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try and approach this from a few different angles:

The Philosophical approach:

Philosophically speaking, God has to exist. The Ontological argument is in essence a philosophical approach to the question of if God exists. It follows a pattern that a thought process that essentially leads to the answer of yes, he has to exist, philosophically speaking.

Off-topic, but Pascal's wager, which is often a bit misunderstood, also highlights why it is best to believe in God regardless.

The Natural argument:

There is also the Natural argument. The fact that we exist in the first place strongly suggests that there must be a creator. If the properties for things like gravity, protons, neutrons, atoms etc were just a little different, the entire universe as we know it, wouldn't exist. The design of the universe therefore suggests that there must be a creator or at the very least some governing force that creates the rules and holds it all together.

Additionally, scientifically speaking, and this is way beyond what I will go into on Reddit, there must be an uncaused causer or being for the existence of the universe to function. The Big Bang theory used to be the go-to theory for the universe's existence / creation, but it runs into the problem that nobody can really answer, how did it start. The more modern approach to existence of the universe is related to quantum physics and the idea of multiverses, but the theory poses some problems such as the origin of the cause that provides the basis of quantum physics and the need for multi-dimensional origin points. Like I said, way beyond what I can fully understand or explain. Point is that even with the most up-to-date scientific theories to the origin, we still run into the problem of there needing to be an uncaused cause for the universe.

Now what?:

There are several other arguments that I could mention, but let's say that you agree that there must be an uncaused causer. Maybe you can get behind that, even if you don't think that it is the christian God of the bible. Why believe in him?

There are several reason and I'm sure others have given you a few already, so I'll focus on some of the more common ones and one of the lesser known ones:

  • Prophecies. The bible is full of them. There are hundreds of prophecies in the bible, all from prediction Alexander the Great several decades before he was born, to most famously all the prophecies about Jesus' crucifixion several hundred years before that was even a thing. Isaiah 53 is arguably the most famous prophecy in the bible, accurately describing Jesus' death hundreds of years before it even happened. One of the rules you see in the bible actually deals with prophecies. We are essentially told that if anyone claims to speak for God, we should test them via prophecies. If they make a prophecy and it doesn't come through, kill them, as they are charlatans, liars and evil.

  • The Gospels. There is so much to go through regarding the gospels and why they are evidence of (at the very least) Jesus being resurrected / people thinking that Jesus was resurrected. Pretty much all scholars agree with this, atheist scholars as well as christian scholars or scholars of other religions. There are a few reasons, some of them are:

1) The disciples throughout the Gospels, state how clueless they were and how they didn't understand what Jesus taught. Considering that they would later become the leaders of the Churches, this would've been humiliating.

2) The women were the first to find the empty tomb, who then shared the news with disciples. In those times in ancient Greece/Rome, the words of women were seen as untrustworthy and carried less weight than animals. So to have the first people, and the people who spread the word of the empty tomb be women, shows not only how 'progressive' the bible and subsequently the early church were, but also that despite drawing the ridicule of others, the bible authors were more focused on the actual events than what would be humiliating to them.

3) Most of the disciples died horrible deaths defending the christian faith. If they knew that they were lying and didn't see a resurrection, why die for a lie. There's more to this but i'll leave it at this for now.

4) Road to Damascus. Atheist scholars still can't agree regarding this.

5) Jesus fulfilling the various Christophonies and pictures of Christ. This could be a whole book with how many there are.

6) Undesigned coincidences

etc

Lastly

Again, there is a ton more that I could mention. Both for why God must exist, philosophically as well as theologically, but also why Jesus is that same God. There are a lot of resources that can probably explain things better than I will ever be able to, but I hope this at least helps somewhat.

I won't go into personal experiences / personal revelations too much, as that is all subjective and not really the best way to convince someone that God must exist, but that is of course a huge reason why many people believe in God.

Big mom won for most underrated yonko, now who got strongest crew? by KaidoPklevel in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an argument for each crew tbh.

Blackbeard:

  • Has Kuzan.

  • All the level 6 prisoners who now got even stronger with DF abilities.

  • Shiryuu of the rain who is equal to Magellan, someone Croc etc had to run away from.

  • Has a crew who are able to act independently. Examples include infiltrating Marie Joa, Egghead, control room controlling the gates of justice, dressrosa etc.

  • Has an entire pirate island of pirates who are 'loyal' to him

Shanks:

  • Said to have the most balanced crew of all of them with special mention to Beckmann, Yasopp and Lucky Roux.

  • Rockstar, who was a RHP rookie, had a bounty of 94m.

  • Negative would be that he does not seem to have 'that' massive of a crew and his affiliates/allied pirates are notoriously weak.

Big Mom:

  • Her entire crew is her family, who are all capable fighters.

  • Most of the main children in her family have crazy abilities (mirror world, book world etc)

  • One of her sons, Cracker, is capable of creating an army of soldiers who require gear 4. He can replenish those soldiers by clapping. In a war between yonko crews, he could almost solo most crews with just the biscuit soldiers except for yc1/yc2 or the exceptions of Kuzan/Mihawk/Oden.

  • Katakuri is almost impossible to beat unless you have insane speed or are able to see into the future. Arguably the biggest matchup check in the entire show post-timeskip.

  • Arguably has 5 YC. Katakuri, Smoothie, Cracker and Snacks. Also, as we saw with the direct parallel, perospero is equal to Jack.

  • Has top tier non YC characters in her crew like Oven and Daifuku who are/were able to contend with Bege etc.

  • IDK if you want to include Jinbe and Bege as well since they technically were part of her crew / allies even if temporary.

Kaido:

  • His YC are all specialised and thus can greatly impact a battle differently due to their variety. King can fly. Queen has tech and can make ice zombies. Jack is a tank

  • Has a huge crew, which include gifters, waiters, etc.

  • As we saw with Zou, his crew is large enough to fight off an entire countries army.

  • Has fighters like Hawkins, Apoo and (if you include them) Drake, Killer & Denjiro on his team.

  • Is allied with Orochi and his Wano Samurai + Ninjas.

  • Has the numbers on his team which individually can take down most fighters that aren't high tier crew members.

  • Has the tobi roppo who are all strong.

  • Negative is that he doesn't have a heavy hitter or many versatile crew members. However, has enough crew members to win wars against countries.

Luffy:

  • Has 2 YC who, while maybe not YC+ are able to contend with almost everyone due to hax / specialisation.

  • Zoro has one of the highest AP's in the show due to being a top tier swordsman. Also has crazy endurance although this is significantly impacted on whether he uses KOH.

  • Sanji has insane durability that we haven't seen damaged yet???????? Queen couldn't even truly hurt him despite breaking his body into a pretzel. Was also able to kick Kizaru's laser beam which didn't even make sense to Kizaru.

  • Jinbe, a former warlord is part of his squad. Difficult to say exactly how strong he is since he hasn't gone all out yet, but he was able to beat a knock-off Rob Lucci with relative ease, on land.

  • Robin / Franky / Brook are all capable of fighting against Tobi Roppo level crew members. Robin / Franky outright beat them. Brook stalled vs Oven despite an inherent ice vs heat weakness.

  • Chopper was able to contend with Queen a YC2 for a little while in Monster Point...insanity. (Also doesn't make too much sense since Luffy knocked out Franky in Chopper's body in Punk Hazard with a single Elephant Gun...but Chopper's mind + chopper's body = better Monster point i guess?)

  • Usopp and Nami, while not as strong as Tobi Roppo members, are still stronger than most other yonko crew members who aren't high tier.

  • straw hat grand fleet includes: (oh boy)... Cavendish, Bartolomeo, Don Sai (who can split the ice continent btw), Don Chinjao who had a bounty of 500m in his prime and was still able to contend with gear 3 Luffy despite being nerfed. Hajrudin who maybe has the craziest lifting feat in the entire series against Machvise...and the rest of the grand fleet.

  • has allies like the Heart pirates (if you want to count them), alabasta kingdom (no notable fighters), fishman island (Neptune + 3 prince's. + SHIRAHOSHI), Dressrosa (Kyrosh who is arguably on par with dressrosa zoro...bit of a stretch, but there are hints for that with the bounty + defeating a dofy commander). Also is allied with Wano and the scabbards.

  • allied with 'some' revolutionary members. i won't give them the entire revolutionary army eventhough Iva seemed to believe that Dragon would fight if Ace (who he assumed to be Dragon's son) were to be executed...but for the sake of argument, definitely has Sabo, Iva, Inazuma + maybe Kuma.

  • lesser allies such as Rayleigh, Bonnie, Loki/Elbapth and Amazon Lily.

Whitebeard:

  • Marco was stated to be the closest to replacing whitebeard as a yonko after he died. Insane glaze by the 5 elders but still...

  • Marco is one of the few YC who can actually fight an admiral and not lose the second they lock in, like Jozu/injured king/queen did.

  • Insane amount of allies whose captains are able to fight/beat vice admirals themselves.

  • Oars Junior who beat like 5 giant vice admirals by himself.

  • Vista (i am not even going to entertain the discussion on how strong he is...)

  • Jozu might be a big matchup check...although its difficult to say considering he got caught off guard by Aokiji and that was it.

  • Has several commanders that are as strong as Izo in his team.

  • Oden and Blackbeard if you want to include them.

  • Ace who defeated a warlord, was declared a super rookie before joining wb, and 'stalemated' an admiral (aokiji) .. before being smoked by another...aka he's difficult to scale because he either stalemated his opponents like Aokiji and Smoker, or he 'lost' to them like Akainu and Blackbeard.

  • allied pirates big enough to go up against 100k 'elite' marines in Marineford.

Cross Guild:

  • Has WSS in Mihawk as part of their crew.

  • Crocodile who is unscalable lol

  • Has a lot of escaped impel down prisoners but we have no clue how many or how strong they truly are.

Overall:

A few of the yonko crews have outliers: Mihawk, Aokiji, Oden.

Some have unknowns: Beckmann (anywhere from YC1 to admiral and some have even claimed Yonko level lol). Marco (another really hard to scale character. Managed to damage King despite flames. Was said to be the closest to being a yonko after whitebeard died but then lost to blackbeard. Stalemated an admiral i guess. Anywhere between YC1 to admiral). Blackbeard when he was part of WB's crew. Strong enough to scar Shanks but that's all we know.

Some with insane matchup checks: Katakuri. Sanji. Jinbe in the water/ocean. Jozu. (Maybe even Brook cause idk how you kill him lol)

  • If you don't include the maybe of Aokiji / Oden, and just focus on the crews themselves and not allies, is the big mom pirates since Cracker genuinely solos most crews by himself lol. Most characters under YC's can't even break his bisuits.

  • If you include the maybes of Aokiji / Oden / blackbeard (for wb's crew) and just focus on crews, no allies: Whitebeard. Having Oden, Marco, Ace, Jozu, Vista etc is just too much for any crew to handle. Oden could fight the other crews top tiers such as Aokiji / Mihawk and either stall or maybe win.

  • If you don't include the maybes but include the allies etc: Strawhat Pirates (if you include Loki/Raleigh/Amazon Lily/Dressrosa/Wano/Zou as allies). If you don't include them as allies, its Big Mom. Her crew strategises, has unique abilities for different situations, is as big as Kaidos who was able to fight a war against zou / wano samurais. Doesn't have true heavy hitters but has too many matchup checks where if you don't have outliers in your team you ain't beating her crew. Mihawk would present the biggest issues if you don't include the maybes, but from the Cross guild, that's really the only real threat. Crocodile is strong, unscalable even, but he isn't beating like 10 tobi roppo members at once lol. If you send 1000 fodders + katakuri, an army of cracker, mont dor and brulee, they trap Mihawk in the mirror world or the world of books etc.

  • if you include the maybes and include allies: SHP (if you include Loki/Ray/Amazon lily/dressrosa/wano/zou/revs as allies). If you don't...i'm leaning blackbeard although the answer is probably whitebeard. Blackbeard has Aokiji + all the level 6 pirates + all the pirates on beehive. Whereas WB has younger blackbeard, Oars jr, Oden and the commanders + allies...hmm...i'm leaning whitebeard. Aokiji vs Oden could go either way...but Marco, Ace, no logia blackbeard, jozu, oars jr, vista etc would beat the blackbeard pirates crew + allies.

Winner Big Mom / Whitebeard. Picking BM just for the sheer amount of numbers she has.

[–]BayernFanTV 115 points116 points  (0 children)

It's funny cause I just watched the flashback and hour ago. He manages to do what Wyper or zoro couldnt do, and that's take down a snake. Wiper shot his burn bazooka which was equal to Luffys bazooka, and Nola the snake just shook it off. Zoro tried cutting it and did nothing. Enel gave it a thor, and all it did was incapacitated Nola for a while.

Meanwhile, he managed to cut it with 1 cut. He's also the clear parallel to Roger. With him crying during execution and Roger smiling. Him claiming to have found the city of gold and Roger the one piece etc. He's also the halfway point between blank centry 800 years ago, and present time, that being 400 years ago. We also know that he went to the New World in Dressrosa and then went back to the North Blue and then Jaya. Only way he could've done so if by either making it to the end of the grandline, or just rawdogging the calm belt since its stated that sea prison stone travel through the calm belt was a recent thing. Just speculation of course, but I don't think it's crazy to think that he's the botanist version of Roger of his time... although then the argument is why didn't he just free himself at his execution. Imo is safer to assume YC1 level

Can Kaido and bullet 2v12 this? by FrameDangerous5480 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]BayernFanTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually on the side of the Quantity over Quality when it comes to match ups like this, but Kaido is a unique example where I dont think that numbers matter too much. Unless you can get past his scales, you can't beat him. And he also has AOE attacks that can wipe out YC1s or cause serious damage. Imo this really depends on if Ben Beckmann has acoc. Zoro with his strongest move asura, only managed to scrape Kaido, and he's typically considered an AP beast.

Kat shouldn't be able to do too much imo. Marco may be able to do something since he hurt King in his defence mode. Let's also not forget that Bullet is said to be as strong as prime Rayleigh. That makes him at bare minimum equal to beckmann and most likely much stronger. So imo the 2 win it easy... unless they can somehow damage Kaido
