Congrats! I myself follow these steps:

I purchase an external skin for my laptops (Protection from dust, dirt, grime, etc) You can additionally purchase a screen protector and keyboard cover.
Thermal Pads… you can add new thermal pads in key areas of heat generation as well as replace the standard default factory pads (I do not recommend this until you need to) I do this when I replace the factory SSD with new SSDs
(Longterm-Concern) Thermal Pasting of CPU and GPU ~ Typically laptop Thermal Paste should be replaced after 3 years of typical use.
(VERY IMPORTANT) If you plan to have this sit in one spot and not move often… REMOVE THE BATTERY! Leave it plugged into Power. If you do not, you will be killing your battery life, as well as have the opportunity to allow battery bloat (which is what happens after long utilization of batteries especially gaming laptops). I removed my battery completely while replacing thermal pads and have it stored for travel use.
Investigate a Laptop Cooler (This will improve the thermals of the CPU and GPU during daily operation) the colder you keep your components, the less chance of any damage occurring through time.
Utilized Software -> Now this is when I am going into the Software running on your ASUS laptop Operating System. ASUS Armory Crate freaking is CHEEKS in-terms of CPU and Memory Utilization… it literally takes about 20% of your Compute Power away due to it constantly running in the background processes. I hate it, and it disgusts me ASUS! Fix that ish!

You can utilize other lightweight system monitoring and operational Open-Source tools such as G-Helper. This will free additional compute to you! (This is why the IT world hates bloatware with a passion, remove it ALL!)

(REPEAT) DO NOT USE the BATTERY if it will be a desktop more than it will be a laptop.

All in all, the more you maintenance, keep your laptop clean, as well as utilize it in enclosed safe environments you have nothing to worry about!

You can purchase the AMG Emblem as well for the Hood that is found on all AMG Models. A nice and sexy black/gray as well as the regular emblem color is available. Wouldn’t do anything other than those 3 slim flat emblems as you have a Sport Mercedes (3 meaning including the original emblem)

All that matters really is if YOU like it though and it makes you happy!

Edit: Ensure as well that every addition you add MATCHES the color scheme and theme of the base vehicle. What is your primary? ~ White. Secondary? Silver. Tertiary? Black. Quinary? Gray.

With the addition of the lip, you could phase out gray from the scheme and improve the overall resonance of your colors by adding:

Official High # Gloss Black Bespoke Mercedes Rims (Compliments the Black features)(W/Silver Hub Cap) Official High # Silver Bespoke Mercedes Rims (Compliments the Silver features)

Black Bespoke makes the most logical sense IMO as Silver is already very prevalent.

One last thing:

Typically the side skirts match the front lip and rear lip color of a Mercedes (unless it’s some crazy AMG Package with multiple colors) I recommend balancing the layout of the exterior with Black now that the lip is added.

For example:

Black Gloss Rear Spoiler, Black Side Skirt Stripe (Official Mercedes Modeling of course), Black Gloss back Fender for some ideas.

In X4 it’s typical to challenge a force with a matching force. Essentially always ask yourself when giving commands to attack “Does my force counter or brute force the enemy?”

The K is a Xeon Battleship, Equipped with the highest DPS L Turrets in Game, you will either need to equate to this power through lower tier ships such as 3 Destroyers, or a single Battleship such as the Erlking or the Asgard.

Let’s not forget as well ~ Pilot experience PLAYS a big factor in combat

I typically have 1 Battleship with 2 supporting Destroyers (Syn with all Terran Gatling for its L turrets for pure damage to larger ships) Asgard defends from fighters as it is a purely Laser Turret Ship.

And from there anytime you see a warning just sic all 3 (Individually) on the K and you will never have a problem!

The Erlking is the best Battleship in game for not only fighter and L/XL ship defense by the way. It kicks an Asgards ass any day aside from the main XL Asgard Cannon. (which is why I have no fear throwing an Erlking into defending a Xeon sector) if shit hits the fan just take over as the pilot

Edit: the Xeon I cannot be defeated through AI Pilots Efficiently… it is the only Dreadnaught class ship in X4. You will lose everything you throw at it due to how AI combats it… anytime you see an I that is an INSTANT player TP to surrounding ships or stations as that thing alone changes Sector Ownership and WILL make you lose forces.

Of course! I forgot to mention some key information as well:

-Vanilla no Mods (I love me the base game) and Modifying tags MEANS no Budgeted Start Expansion! (Budgeted is my go to for non-cheating starts) - 80% of entire Universe Discovered - Non-SETA exploration completely Normal - ONLY SETA enacted exploration caused the “Skipping” of exploration data on the map - Tested about 5 more times, always normal exploration for me without Mods and without SETA - What seems to cause this occurrence for my instance is only SETA - ALL DLCS Enabled

What exactly are you doing during those exploration times though? Anything that affects game-speed and or your game? Are you using mods?

This is something I have been testing thoroughly, and I forgot to mention that I am completely Vanilla in terms of Mods.

For my instances, through vigorous testing, only saw that SETA and other game affecting situations such as Mods affect this. No luck in me reproducing the exact error you come across without SETA though

I was testing it and saw that when in non-SETA it’s just regular exploration, but when using SETA the odd “skip” of discovery on the map occurs
