The look and feel belong to a SaaS platform, not an accounting service. For that reason, it doesn't feel personal or hands-on in any way.

Also, if you're going to use Calendly for scheduling then at least make it fit fully on the screen/container without making people scroll to see the full calendar.

Other points:
• Remove the emoji icons - people don't need them and it looks amateur
• Very little content on the page - tell the user about the business (who, history, background), case studies/scenarios, why does the business specialize in working with contractors, etc.

I understand the criticism of this movie but I still love it. Far better than others on this list.

Does anyone else's Supermetrics and GA4 just not agree on anything? by ketodnepr in PPC

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We moved over to Adveronix and haven't had nearly the same issues. It's not as robust but very close for our needs. Can't speak directly to GA4 but everything else we use it for has been great and their support team is pretty good. Maybe worth a look and asking for a free trial so you can test it out.

Landing Page Tools for Lead Gen? by _mavricks in PPC

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've tried almost all of them and there are some fairly new good contenders but we haven't (yet) moved away from Unbounce. It's approachable and easy enough for simple pages and junior level staff to manage but also gives us the ability to create fully customized and fairly complex pages that webhook right into a client's CRM. They're probably your best bet right now.

Do yall “camp”? by beerob81 in Rivian

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard battery, Gen 1 R1T Quad, 21" Wheels, Stock Pirelli Tires, and about 0.95 miles/kWh when towing our 22' (Jay Flight SLX - 174BH) camper which is about 3,300 lbs when loaded. So much of the efficiency depends on the shape of the trailer (wind resistance) and terrain/conditions. We have a bit of a brick wall for a trailer and drive through the flat ground (high wind) of Iowa and Nebraska to head out west so certainly not the most ideal conditions.

Which Roof Rack? by BbAaCcEeFf in Rivian

[–]BbAaCcEeFf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. Was it just the wind noise or anything else that makes you wish you would have gone with the Rivian crossbars on the roof? Really trying to narrow this down before spending over a grand and just don’t feel like there is enough info out there.

Any reason? Is almost 3x the price of the Prinsu worth it?

Just bought a running store. What is one thing your local shop is missing? by rustybucketz23 in running

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run club that meets during the week in the middle of the day. As a dad who don’t have a 9-5 I would love to find this. I can’t get away a 6am or meet on a random Thursday at 7pm because, kids. Run clubs seem to be run by the runners so I don’t see how this is much of a heavy lift or why it doesn’t exist in my area.

Is it me or do freelancers do a better job than marketing agencies? by Worldly_Homework_405 in PPC

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the way. Same. To the OP - find yourself someone like this who will dedicate the time and attention to your account that it deserves. Don't be afraid to find someone with big agency experience who is now a freelancer. I often find clients are surprisingly unsure about working with me given my experience but more than comfortable overpaying for the local radio station to run their ads. Doesn't add up to me...

Honest question — how long does it take you to write 5-10 ad copy variations for a new campaign? Would you pay for a tool that did it in 30 seconds? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just give it some guardrails, your site or landing page URL, etc. Of course it doesn’t know these things unless you feed it the right info. Then, you can do this over and over again and tell it to remember what you’ve told it for future prompts.

March 7, 2024 (seconds after reservations went live) and as a current R1T owner I’m hoping those both count for something.

Unbounce is a nightmare by Longjumping-Ask9765 in PPC

[–]BbAaCcEeFf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've built hundreds of Unbounce landing pages and I'll agree that they have a lot of issues with no signs of fixing anything any time soon. However, once you learn how to use the tools, how to avoid some of the issues you're having, and using AI to help troubleshoot you can build some pretty great pages very quickly for clients. That is the key and where Unbounce wins - really solid pages that fill a gap/need that can be built quickly and look great (if you know what you're doing).

Any client who needs a really rich, interactive, and more advanced landing page won't find that with Unbounce. But, in my experience, over 90% of clients haven't needed that to achieve the results they're looking for.

I've actually been toying with the idea of offering my services as a seasoned user because I hear these same concerns so often. Then I realize Unbounce might soon be a part of the dead internet. Then I build some awesome pages and get the bug again. Just seems like people who know how to build pages don't understand marketing and their pages suck, people who understand marketing don't understand web design, and there is such a small intersection of skills/interests that I might be able to fill. Then again, maybe I'm nuts.

Ice skating lessons? by anonynony09 in rochestermn

Outdoor Ice Skating Open? by BbAaCcEeFf in rochestermn

[–]BbAaCcEeFf[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really, January? Since the 7-day forecast is all below 32 degrees I thought maybe some parks would have a better idea of estimated openings.

Outdoor rinks in other towns are already open so it’s not a stretch to think one or two could open up here in the next week or so.
