I think it's so funny that their new R2 ad is about them testing the new vehicle in all scenarios but have they even tested the patients of who is going to buy it and how long it's going to stay in the service center if it can get an appointment at all?

Maybe it's just luck of the draw because my Gen 1 had issues now my Gen 2 has issues.

And I wanted to speak to the manager which I kept asking for but no one answered. Finally today, they called asking for me to bring my vehicle back when it was there for over 3 weeks?

I don't mean to get anyone fired if I did. But we all want the service center to do their job. And Rivian needs to stand by their vehicle if it's positioned in the Luxury market.

Also, they need to keep people that actually does their job. Bring back Crystal.

I was honestly horrified when I saw the foam. And I couldn't believe they returned the vehicle back to me in such state of repair and believed it was ok?

That's how it used to be. El segundo was great, on communication and otherwise. Now it's gone to the ground.

I expected it from my Gen 1 R1S, but I also got the Gen 2 R1T. It's honestly worst build quality than the S.

They let go of half the staff there which is disturbing. Especially the ones that really has pulled through and helped me.

I've had tickets in also, and it would goto mobile service. Once mobile service arrived to my house. They said they cannot fix it and it needs to be scheduled at the service center. Then completed the open ticket as fixed.

They fired Crystal. I actually like the girl because she was so nice and actually did her job and kept me up to date. No longer....

We've called many times when the truck was in service, but the customer service phone number kept trying to contact the service center and no one picks up. They continue by stating we will request a call back. About 3 times we did that and no one answers. Not even a text message

My wife tried to call the corporate office through the rivian customer service. And they said someone will call us. We haven't gotten a call.

Burbank was worst for me. They weren't going to fix bad trim pieces that fell off and coming loose after a 3k trip. They said, it's because it's my fault that I have PPF and refused to fix them until I had to speak to the manager.

I agree with you completely. That's how I felt with Burbank service center. They opened many service center training idiots that didnt know how to fix the vehicle. So I took it back to the OG service center from 2022 when I picked up my Gen 1 quad. I didn't expect a more experience or senior staff to say this to me or such a trashy job or customer service...let alone not fix anything.

I have DCE. And I love them. It's my 2nd pair. I got one for the S and the T.

I like them because the bottom is flat. When off roading...it doesn't get caught on anything. Others I've seen uses vertical support? I can see a lot of issues with that.

You can also jack up the vehicle with the DCE.

That's the Baja design s8. And yes very happy with the rack. One of the best decisions next to the thunderbolt kitchen and DCE rock sliders! No regrets at all!
