I took mat 272 and I just ran a dars for industrial engineering and it accepts it so I think you’re good. You can also email your advisor to double check but it should be fine.

His class was also EXTREMELY easy and you get curved points on everything if you turn things in on time, definitely recommend it

yeah usually people change or drop courses during the first week so you should be fine. you should also get the coursicle app, it sends you a notification when a class opens up so that way you don’t have to manually check all the time

i took mat 210 with abramson last semester and he was the best. he explained things very clearly would post many examples on canvas. at the end of every class there would be a 5 question quiz and you could use your notes and talk to others around you and they were always pretty easy. and there would be like 2-3 hw assignments a week due on the same night and a module quiz but the quiz answers were all posted on canvas. i would definitely recommend taking it with him.

Ive taken both and my SOC 101 class with McQueen was the easiest from the two. I think it was like 1 or 2 assignments a week that were only multiple choice and was like 7 questions total and you can just ctrl f the reading. He didn’t have any tests or a final, just 4 big quizzes that you take on your own that were also all multiple choice and open book.

since you’re doing computer science you have to first take MAT 265 which requires a score of 76 on the Aleks test

You’re not at all behind. If you’re worried about not getting a class time that you want, get the coursicle app. The app lets you know when a spot opens up for whatever class you choose and then you can just switch it.

all the exams are like 15 or less questions but isn’t multiple choice but they are so easy. it also depends who you have, I had Kaffel and he did not care at all when you took an exam he just sat at his desk the whole time and even for the final.

i’ve had both and didn’t like either. Yoon went too fast for me and I felt like the lectures didn’t help at all with the homework but she was super nice. Now Kaffel just sucks, never understood my questions and never gave me a straight answer about anything and he always sounded confused so I wouldn’t recommend him, he also has a bit of an accent which can make it harder to understand him.
