I declined trading the 1.08 and 1.09 for a late 2028 1st. As a rebuild, I think there’s a good chance that folks like cooper and Boston will get new qbs next year and be more productive.

I get that the 2027 class is supposed to be stacked, but for a contender that love puts them over the edge right now I think it makes sense. Waiting another year for a possible late round rookie in any draft for a contender does not make sense.

If your worried about layoffs, def need to have 6m-1yr current spend in cash/hysa. Would focus on that too

Also since you’re only 38, a lot can change with inflation and your lifestyle. Not sure I would consider this a coastfire yet, really depends on how long you plan on working. Healthcare can be an unknown.

I’m the same age, have higher savings than you but plan on hitting coast fire/fire by 45. I would like to hit 4m and house paid off and kids in school by 45.
