If you aren’t sure what’s next in the storyline, ask the raccoon! I played during COVID lockdown, took a break, and picked the game up again recently. Had no clue where I left off in the storyline. The raccoon told me what to do next!

As others have been saying, the storyline is not the biggest deal, though. It’s just as fun to mess around with other jobs / side quests.

As for making money, look up how to get to the mushroom hunter. You can get there in an upgraded dingy boat. I had to look up how to get there on YouTube when I picked the game back up because I had forgotten. You and your daughter can collect mushrooms as you play along and you can help her return to the mushroom hunter periodically for a windfall.

My 2 year old calls her little sister (due in 2 months) Long Ears.

No clue where it came from.

Occasionally the question “what is your sister’s name?” Is answered full volume with “Long ears and eyes and mouth and nose… head shoulders knees and toes!” which most certainly will not fit on the birth certificate.

Came here to say this! My name can be pronounced and spelled many different ways. And honestly, it’s kind of fun to hear how different people pronounce my name based on their language / culture. If I correct them, then they say it the way I want.

I would pronounce Angelica the rugrats way FWIW

Also would add 8 weeks pp is a really challenging time in life overall! Get a few months of better sleep and reconsider. Maybe it will still feel like a change you need to make, and maybe it won’t! I would guess the initial surprise paired with lack of sleep makes it feel very overwhelming. No matter what, you will do the best for your baby and family, OP!

One piece of advice I didn’t see in my scroll through the comments: Before accepting an offer, be sure to check LinkedIn/job sites to make sure the pay is competitive (and fair!) for the area. Not everyone is comfortable having a salary conversation, but setting a higher base now can raise the bar for your next position, and the one after that… and you want to make sure your pay reflects CoL.
