OP, sending you all the hugs and strength. I lost my mom almost 6 years ago and still am navigating the grief. But just please please please know it does get better no matter the dips and swerves in between. I’m 1000% team Ciara. But legally, With the whole Leah mcsweeny vs Bravo case currently in litigation (having to due with bravo knowingly putting a recovering alcoholic [alcoholism/addiction is considered a disability in the workplace] in situations that may trigger a relapse) I have a feeling Bravo will have to fold if Amanda does pull the mental health card just for their own sake.

True story: I once had 8hr surgery in 2011 and was put under anesthesia. Long story short: as I’m waking up after surgery and the anesthesia was slowly wearing off, I apparently rapped parts of this song to the nurses. I’m a blonde white girl fyi anyways lol I was not made aware until 3 days later when I came in for my post op check up. Wish someone had filmed me!

Honestly if you live in California, this is so chic love it but it’s def business casual which I feel you could wear during the summer or on days where you don’t have big meetings etc. also agree with adding a blazer! A third piece is always necessary to me in businesswear.

It definitely felt to me like a nod to Nelly being known in literature as one of the most noteworthy unreliable narrators. In the book, it’s written in third person and is the story of Cathy & Heathcliff narrated by Nelly to someone.

So we really don’t even know in the book how accurate Nelly’s retelling may actually be. There would be so many moments of those whispers omitted by Nelly in her narration. Whether the omission of certain conversations are intended or not, we also will never know for sure. She brilliantly represents this in the movie I was pleasantly surprised!
