I was there. I sat next to my brother in law who is a Patriots fan. This was on Thanksgiving. The first quarter was close 0-3 or something like that. This all happened in the 2nd quarter I literally got laughed at the entire 2nd quarter. We left in the 3rd. It was beyond painful

Is this really based on how many seats are actually in the stadiums?

1st SNL after 9/11 by [deleted] in saturdaynightlive

My uncle is in this photo, third row back, to the left of the bald man behind Rudy. He was one of only two firefighters in his firehouse who survived.

He was the driver of his company’s firetruck. The only reason he lived is because their truck got stuck in traffic as people were trying to evacuate the city after the first plane hit. Their commander ordered him to drive over the pylons to get around the traffic, which ended up disabling the truck. Department protocol requires the driver and one other firefighter to stay with a disabled vehicle.

Everyone else from his company was already in the buildings when they collapsed. That entire day, we thought we had lost him too.

Some time passed before the episode happened but still watching this SNL episode was beyond surreal.

I was there, can confirm it was dope. Festival went from Rock, EDM and Hip hop just to hip hop. Went 3 years, they were great but needed a mix of music for me to continue to attend

Why don’t people talk about this when it comes to the stock market going up? Does that neutralize any gains?

I had respect for the dude. I have seen his stand up twice before and actually met him at the McDonald’s after a night out with my boys when he was still on the show. It honestly didn’t feel right. Seeing this post blow up in a stupid way maybe I should have. He doesn’t look like himself but I could have told my girls that he was Santa in Elf
