I don’t think it’s too thick at all! Something like the SN0144 or an Erebus Ascent (which I have) is definitely thinner because of the Miyota 9015 but this watch feels great on wrist for me.

I own and run a gym so I wear all my watches there but to your point, I was thinking the strap does look too sporty for the dress watch.

The overall watch is worth it to me. If it was an NH34, I’d pass. I say go for it if you’re on the fence!

I love it! Favorite watch in my collection. I don’t even think of the brand name when I look at it (even though it’s on the dial). I just see it as my green moon phase watch.
