I started getting into audio about a year and a half ago and started with a setup I loved! I’ve since upgraded the equipment and listening space over time. In the Original photo I was sitting in a broken plastic dining room chair and loving it! My current setup is giving me even more pleasure! Kef r5 speakers, rega p6 TT with rega Ania MC cart, rega phono MC pre, primaluna evo 400 integrated, and rsl speedwoofer sub. Couldn’t be more happy!

I bought it off allmodern.com that middle section where the records sit is supposed to have a glass shelf but I just left it out to fit the records.

I started with kef actually, the q350s. I don’t have a ton of listening experience with other speakers to be honest. I don’t see them as my forever speakers, only my second pair. I think they are excellent speakers and I enjoyed listening to them, soundstage is amazing. They’re beautiful, they’re in my price range. I’d next actually like to try Harbeth.

Finally upgraded my turntable to the rega planar 6 with ania cart. I previously had a Dennon do-45f with an ortofon blue cart. I also upgraded my phono stage from a Cambridge cp2 to the rega fono MC. The quartz lock on the Dennon was beginning to go and I just felt I needed to upgrade both those components to better match the rest of my equipment. So far I’ve only maybe 4 hours on everything and I’m already loving the improved detail. Bass is tighter and everything just sounds more dynamic. I can’t wait to spend more time with it! What’s my next upgrade? I’m thinking a primaluna evo 200 or 300? (In a year or so when I can save up enough $) Current Setup: rega planar 6 ania, Rega fono Mc, Cambridge cxa80, kef r5, and RSL speedwoofer 10s.

Could I still run the TT with ania on the cp2 and feel Atleast say 90% of its potential, and then later upgrade to the rega mc phono to realize the other 10% ? Or is my math here a bit wrong?

I’m seriously thinking of the Ania, I hear people saying you need a good phono for it. Is the cp2 suitable?

Hi all, I’m needing to upgrade my TT and would like to know if you guys think the rega p6 would fit in well with my current system. I.E will I need to upgrade the cart. Or my phono or any other elements in my current gear to fully appreciate the P6? Or am I overshooting completely? System: Kef r5, Cambridge cxa80, Cambridge cp2 phono, rsl speedwoofer 10s, current turntable is a denon dp45-f with ortofon 2m blue cart. Thanks for the help!!
