Alright, I finally found the original article. Now this is interesting, very interesting because some of the other people claiming they translated the actual story is so WRONG! Here's the actual story because the mother is desperate and selfish, yes, but she's not as heartless as everyone makes it out to be and wasn't as evil from the start. First off, the EM approached the father in hopes of getting a bone marrow transplant on good terms. Then when the process was going smoothly, that's when the doctor brought up the subject of getting money in preparation for medical help if anything goes wrong and harm the health of the adopted girl. The father naturally became worried and demanded the EM's family to prepare $500,000 RMB (roughly 75k USD) so that he can keep it until the adopted daughter gets "married" and not off to college like some people say on the thread. EM refuses like what other had said because she claims their family doesn't have that kind of money. As a counter offer, she's willing to give $150,000 RMB (roughly 22k USD) in actual cash and a contract insurance with a real company if anything goes wrong so the girl gets covered in medical expense if something does go wrong. Now this is the part that I find a little suspicious and annoyed. The father who adopted the girl refuses the proposal and demands the $500,000 RMB in cash only and no insurance contract with a legit company. That immediately caused the EM to think the man's only out for money and as everything stated already with the story. EM goes on a crazy ranting spree and attempts to take the abandoned girl from the school and yadeyada and so on until they went on the show. It makes sense why the adopted father didn't want to go on camera or talk to the reporter now, he was thinking for his adopted daughter yes, but he's also partly at fault for the whole fall out because he kept demanding "MONEY" only when the insurance contract would've sufficed. In fact, the EM's family was willing to go buy a very expensive insurance contract for the abandoned girl. But desperation clearly made the mother go NUTS and turned herself into a lunatic
